- This was my first trip to Pitmedden on the MTB and it did not disappoint! We rode the steeper trails on the hill and they really were fantastic. The trails are short and all seemed to have some very fast sections. Pitmedden trails definitely feel unique. Each mtb trail is littered with loads of little features from root jumps, to small gaps and drops. There are even some sizeable road gaps if you are feeling brave! I would definitely recommend a visit to Pitmedden MTB trails. It is an ideal place for sessioning and improving. Get yourself to Pitmedden!

Certainly weren't like that today. Wet roots galore with a layer of soft mud on top of the dust. Treacherous. Made today a recce for future visits cos it looks mint.

We were there last week too for the first time! What a great place it is! We started on Side winder first and worked our way up and missed the one with the road gap! Need to get back for that now! Btw good effort on the tree jump! That’s a sketchy landing. Need to do that now too! Good edit Jamie!

These are awesome trails. We were there last month. Loved it! I live in Crieff but had never been before!

Thanks mate. It was a good crew and great trails. There is an awful lot to concentrate on but I'd recommend a visit. There are some more chill trails which I'm yet to explore 😁

Very good job mate! Cracking riding too for riding it double blind lol with all the dust blocking your view of the trail😂 your camera picked up the light extremely well in the dark area at the top of the trails🤩 enjoyed that one 🙌

I think he is doing OK. That was defintely the only not so good part of the day. Easy done on trails that are fast and littered with mini features though! Looking forward to your edit this week 😁

Pitmedden is behind my grans house, used to ride there on my rigid bike with my grandpa on his Marin Rift Zone. Didnt realise there were so many trails there.
That's a great wee story. Mate, there are stacks of trails now. A good variation as well 👍

Nice. You have to do Thunderstruck, Careless Whisper and Jailbreak.
Then head to the top and do Hush Hush and Broon Troot. Follow the black down and hit Ponduro 👍

Ha ha. Just a wee send! Unfortunately that wee skinny got the better of me. I scratched the fork legs pretty badly so I just gave up and went home. I was tired by that point anyway 🤣

No way. You defo need to check them out. I have the XT 4 pots and they are excellent. Hands down the nicest brakes I've ever owned. The finish on them is brilliant but more importantly they have power. For Scotland I'd recommend sintered pads, either the Shimano ones or Fibrax if you can't get Shimano. Great brakes mate 👍

Ha ha! Thanks bud. Which on was don't send it? I'm guessing we probably loved it. I loved the build on every trail to be fair. Really clever trail building with loads of little surprises all over the place. I didn't know about the Aberfeldy trails... Are you doing a wee edit mate?
@@streetpigeonmtb don't send it is the furthest right with the log hop and the root drop into log chuck and fade away lander into berm. I just built it in February.
Doing a wee dunkeld edit the now. But was at Aberfeldy yesterday . Utterly amazing, the views, the trails just incredible and it's only gonna get bigger. That edit will be up next week.

U should do a video where u ride the same trail that u find kinda difficult maybe 5 times in a row to see how much your time improves over the 5 runs.
