I just found your channel because my church is starting the Daniel Fast next week. I have my certification in Biblical Nutrition and was looking for creative recipes. Your channel and website is exactly what I needed. I also ordered your book. Thank you.

Deanna, where did you get your biblical nutrition certification? Asking because my friend and I are interested in that.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m used to just buying Ezekiel bread from the freezer section but it’s $8 a loaf now! I’m desiring learning more about making my own bread without the use of modern wheat. I also recently learned about Sue Becker. She really inspired me to learn more.

This is great! My husband and I have watched your previous video on the grain mills which perked our interest. So now we’re on a journey on learning as much about grains as possible. Thanks!

I always use hard red and hard white for my sandwich bread 🥪. I am going to try Kamut and Spelt next. Thanks

I know. I just heard Purina has toxic chemicals that cause cancer in animals. I'm not sure if true.

Now what are your thoughts about all of these products people are adding to the gluten free/Keto bread?

Thank you so much for sharing bcs I haven't known much about most of these grains. I have 2 questions- I'm diabetic (type 1.5) for a yr now, and am wondering if you know if any of these grains would be more beneficial for diabetics, of course watching how much we eat? Also I've tried Quinoa before but it didn't sit well with me, hmm maybe that's bcs of diabetes before I knew it, but I'm wondering how is it best prepared to taste better?

I’m glad you found the information helpful! For diabetes, grains like quinoa, barley, and oats can be good choices in moderation, as they have a lower glycemic index. However, portion control is key. If quinoa didn’t sit well before, try rinsing it well and cooking it with broth or adding spices to enhance flavor. Sometimes soaking it beforehand can make it easier to digest too. Always monitor how different grains affect your blood sugar levels and adjust accordingly. Hope that helps! 😊

Do you have to take out the very dark pieces of grain in order to mill it???
