↟↟Finally, after the -25°C frosts, heavy snowfalls began..
I went to the snow Forest to experience winter camping in a 3x3 tarp shelter. In my opinion, this is the best, most effective and simplest shelter in which it is possible to spend a night by a campfire in winter.. it is also quite roomy and suitable for overnight stays of 1 or 2 people.
As for me, the best fire in this case is Nodya, which works for quite a long time and almost does not give sparks.
This time I didn't bother myself with food and took with me ready-made rice porridge in a tin can and some homemade lard with garlic..it is convenient and quick to cook.
In the winter Forest, not only bushcraft and survival skills are important, but also high-quality equipment, so get ready properly so that your camping does not turn into hell :)

Доброго времени. Ночевки в лесу зимой, просто круть. Для подготовки лагеря, особенно когда в хозяйстве печь, использую наколенники, весят не много, зато полезная вещь.

Наколенники - вещь полезная безспорно. По лету тож использую брюки со вставками, а так всегда с собой старый поджопник, если вдруг понадобится для быта)

Здравствуйте. Отличный кемпинг. Походами заболел давно. Но с ночёвкой зимой ходить не доводилось. Зимой ходил только на день. Зимой нет ползучих, летучих и кусачих гадов. Зимой сложнее разводить огонь, но мене нравиться огонь, и я научился разводить его без спичек. Бывать в таких лесах как у тебя не доводилось, но любоваться заснеженной природой у костра это неописуемое, я бы сказал не наслаждение, а что то похожее на медитацию, когда забываешь о всех проблемах и заботах, только ты огонь и природа. Как то так, короче не получилась повесть. Но можно дальше рассуждать и рассуждать)) спасибо.

Unfortunately, you're wearing a typical backpack that has 5 to 8 bio-mechanical inefficiencies. Your waist best being placed above or at your navel results in 25% or so of your breathing capacity eliminated. Place the waist belt a few inches below your navel and you can consume more oxygen for your muscles to move faster when needed. You need the waist belt to eliminate the shifting of your pack because the major weight stored within/on your pack is not located in the center of the pack. Your spine is the center of torso rotation where the major weight of the pack should be stored. Locate the major weight of your gear in the center of the pack and you will notice that the pack doesn't shift as much as before. Your pack sits at your hips or lower eliminating your basic pace speed. To prove this, First llift your shoulder straps so that the pack is above your hips. Then pull the straps down and hold onto them so the pack remains above your hips. Now walk about 50 to 100 feet and return. Try doing it with and without the pack being raised above your hips and you will notice that your move faster with the pack above your hips.You now have 3 of the 8 bio-mechanical inefficiencies of the backpack eliminated if you cared to follow my suggestions.

@@BushcraftAdventure Perhaps not discomfort, but you do have loss of energy which you are not mindfully aware of and definitely a loss of hiking speed.
