Thank you for the video. If I print a profile target and save my settings will this remember the printer driver setting? So that I'm my printer driver updates, it won't affect my custom ICC profile made on a previous driver version?
Qimage One will remember the settings when you save them, but some of those settings will be dependent on the settings in the driver at the time. So if you then update your driver version, some of the settings may no longer apply.
When soft proofing, you can alter the Rendering Intent to see its effect, but that does or doesn't change the RI for the actual print? Be nice if that were the case instead of having to load the profile again and pick a differing RI. Is (does) the RI selected in soft proof being honored for the actual output? TIA.
When you enter Soft Proof mode the rendering intent and black point compensation displayed under the Live View show the current settings from the ICC profile selection dialog. If you make changes to the controls while in Soft Proof mode, when you exit Soft Proof mode you will be prompted whether to update the printer settings for the job. If you say Yes then they will be updated and honored when you print.
Well done this covers my question on Colour Management from a previous video. I think your set up for avoiding double profiling is idiot proof and the differences between Mac and Windows is well described.👍
We support any valid ICC color profile embedded in the source image file, and any valid ICC color profile which the user selects for the printer. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your question?
Thanks!! for the great software and easy to use color management.

Excellent
When are you going to support ProPhoto color space?
