    What time does she actually answer the question?

    • @coachingnocodeapps

      Hey there! There's not a single question - it's a collection of multiple concerns people have. If you aren't looking for information on scalability, source code, or IP ownership, this may not be the best video for you. If you have a specific question you're hoping to answer, you're welcome to ask, though!

    I have a couple of questions if you can help cause that i cant find answers to for the 29$/month plan:
    1-How many push notifications per month
    2-How many downloads per month
    3-How much monthly bandwith?
    4-And how many user can use the app per month?

    • @wellingtonsantos92311
      @wellingtonsantos92311 ปีที่แล้ว

      1-unfortunately it’s doesn’t have push notifications. It’s has some other ways for notifications for example email(that what i use and my Gmail pushes it in my screen😅), maybe text via API, or also some notifications plugins but again not “push” when the app is closed, only when the app screen is open ok.
      2-No “download limit” but it does have storage limit man the $29 plans has only 10gb but you can integrate via API a paid external storage.
      3-again “no limit” by month but the server limits it per action for example if you try to make 100 and 100 of downloads at the same time you may have some headach.
      4-again “no limits” but if you have only 1 or 2 users running really heavy actions like those 100 downloads at the same time won’t be a good idea.

    Kristen, this was a particularly helpful video for many people. I thought it wise to talk about the barriers to entry in relation to Bubble vs traditional development. The financial and programming effort is so much less with Bubble...where as, many entrepreneurs would be shut out with a traditional coding approach (ie. too expensive and too challenging technically). The bottom line is that for many businesses...without Bubble, there simply wouldn’t be an app. Great video!! Thanks.

    Hi! Thank your for your videos! 😊
    I know it's not the prioroty rightnow but i'd like to know.
    Can Bubble web apps handle 1 million or several million of users per day with the highest plan?
    Does Bubble allow you to create an app with the personal plan at 25€ and then, depending on the traffic you have on that app, scale it up to higher plans?
    Merci!

    This talk makes a lot of sense, I was actually overthinking things.
    But this video actually answered my concern about bubble's scalability.

      @@coachingnocodeapps i think it’s neatly addressed just ensure you have your ERD or Schema down and your style guide and of course an export of data.

    Love your content! Thank you! I’m wondering about how Bubble scales from a simple load & traffic perspective. I think when you talk about scaling, you’re talking about adding more and more features (correct me if I’m wrong) that could outgrow Bubble, but from a simple user standpoint, it was my impression that as you get more users, it will slow the app down and you need more server capacity, through going to a higher plan. Is this accurate? But if you were to have an app that worked for 100 users, it should scale up to 10,000 or 100,000 users, in theory, no? Is this the scalability concern with Bubble or is it outgrowing the features of Bubble? I don’t doubt that if you scale to having 100,000 users, it’s probably a reasonable assumption that you’ve got a great app on your hands and should be able to find the budget to switch platforms, if needed. I see it like switching accounting firms as you grow - you need more expertise and would be able to take your books to the new firm, but there is some work involved in that.
    Anyway, great content again, and thanks in advance for answering my question! 😁

      @coachingnocodeapps  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! This speaks to scale in terms of adding more features, users, or overall load (ex weight of processes happening in the app). You can build an unscalable app on Bubble in regard to these things, and you can build a scalable one. If you've built your app in a scalable way and you do need more capacity or a higher plan, that's possible, too. If you reach that point, though, it's kind of the same thing - if you're there, moving to a higher plan shouldn't be an issue for your business.

    Overall good video today.
    I do have some issues/caveats. You did kinda ramble about the source code a little to heavy. Actually by not making a point of creating ERD diagram(s) was a big no no for me. If you build a system, you should start with the structure first. Doesn’t matter if its code your developing yourself, low code, no code etc. Your ERD / Schema would basically be the road map for your app and database. You should obviously export your data from whatever platform and that’s basically all you need to get away and migrate.
    From a design standpoint, technically if you are doing things in a theme format, and you are trained or experienced designer, then your style guide and overall design bible should explain the look and feel of your app or site. If you haven’t made those, this is again something you can get by without doing but your going to be shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t have a style guide. You can get people to create one for your or even use AI to do so or just read a few design sites.
    I also agree that you wouldn’t worry too much about the platform having to be migrated. There are far worse problems you could be experiencing that your not touching since another provider is handling it. As always, love your content, just had to give my view on the source code or lack of having it and not knowing how to exfiltrate from a platform.

    just be honest with us and tell us Bubble is only for a MVP. please stop beating around the bush and tell it the way it is. Bubble wont scale right. Those that have to worry are the ones that havent monetized an app with 100k users. If you have monetized it well at that point with that many users, then you can afford some developers.

    • @coachingnocodeapps
      @coachingnocodeapps  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bubble is consistently used beyond MVP, so we definitely wouldn't want to mislead by saying that. Have you scaled to that point and personally had a specific problem, though? Let us know if so and we'll help you out! I totally understand the worry - hopefully the video helps with that!
