Fast & Furious RC Car Mod, Worlds First Blue Flame Exhaust Arrma Fellony 6s Epic RC Drift Scene

In this video I modify the RC Arrma Felony 6s with a fire spitting exhaust to make the worlds first Fast & Furious style blue flame exhaust on an RC car.

To make this I used:
1.5mm thick sheet copper
12v solenoid
40a electronic switch x2
12v diesel heater plug
Aluminium gas tank (Robart)
Heat sink x2
LPG gas hob injector
Butane Gas
Polo creations LED kit
This was one of my favourite and most challenging projects to day, it took 2 years in the development in between other projects. I've experimented with many different gases and flammable liquids and different sources of ignition. For the longest time it was nearly impossible to have a safe, reliable exhaust flame without setting the whole car on fire. The blue flame was achieved by having a primary and secondary air supply into the combustion chamber, if the tank is overfilled with butane liquid gas enters the combustion causing the big yellow flame. Considering how much work went into this the final design was very simple.
I have since added a 5v cooling fan on top of the exhaust heat sink and foil tape heat proofing inside the body shell.
I filmed the action senes alone, I had to learn how to drive and drift with one hand whilst holding the camera with the other and operating the fire with my foot lol!
