If you want to see more of Haley, I have 9 years and around 800 videos of Haley live performances. The performances are also in set list order playlists per show. She's a fantastic live performer.
Thank you so much!! I will definitely take a look and I’m sure I’ll be reacting to more of her music. This was amazing. Thank you so much for the love and support 🙏 ❤️
You know, there are women through history that have brought armies to their knees and sent them into battle against overwhelming odds, with a drive to conquer...I believe this response that Haley illicits from men is what drove them to it. She is captivating!
Haley Reinhart was a contestant on American Idol approximately 10 years ago. She didn't win but she came in the top three I believe. Her rendition of House of the rising Sun during the competition received great acclaim.
My wife heard 2 seconds and said “you’re listening to Haley without me?!”. Need to listen to Benny and the Jets, Seven Nation Army, House of the Rising Sun, and her own songs are all great.
The fact that she is not insanely famous is due to Haley holding herself back. As although she has been approached and has negotiated with practically all the big major record labels, so far none of them have ever managed to sign her up to a record deal. Thus her original music, which is damn good, isn't played on the radio and she isn't permitted to appear on network TV. Which mean she always remains extremely obscure.
PMJ is a must have on any play list. They feature different vocalists in different covers which they re-imagine in various vintage genres. Here are some must see covers from them. "Seven nation army", "Dream on", "Maps", "All about that bass". They have an extensive catalog. Great reaction.
PMJ is awesome!! Thanks for the reaction! I would love it if you reacted to an acapella group called 'Home Free'. Most reactors start with 'Man of Constant Sorrow' or 'Ring of Fire (featuring Avi Kaplan)'. :)
Kathy here - Haley was first "discovered" on American Idol. She didn't win but should have! If you liked this, then you need to check some of her songs from the show. She is an amazing singer! Loved your reactions. Just found your channel today. Loved your expressions as she continued to reveal all the layers to her voice.
@@jamescurfman3284 I don't remember the year, but I am going to say 5 to 7 years ago. Sorry I can't be of any help on specific year, but I do know if you search on TH-cam and type in her name with American Idol Performances, it will come up that way. She did House of the Rising Son and it was amazing. Sorry it took so long to respond but had back surgery so have been unable to set for long at the computer. I have over 200 emails I am sorting through today! Have a blessed day! Oh, by the way, in case you have not seen it, you need to check out Brian Justin Crum's version of Creep - he performed it on America's Got Talent. Just put his name in TH-cam and you will find it. He was amazing. The audience didn't make a sound for 3 to 4 seconds after he finished, and the place went wild.
Hey Cliff, You will probably see several Angelina fans here.Haley Reinhart has been my favorite singer for 10+ years since she came in third on American Idol in 2011. Angelina in now on par with her in my book. They are both amazingly talented and both have jazz roots. Haley does ridiculous things with her voice as you just saw. PMJ takes familiar songs and remakes them in a 20's to 50's jazz style. They are a lot of fun and feature different artists to sing. Haley has done a few with them and they get their most views when Haley is featured. 7 Nation Army, All About That Bass,Mad World and Black Hole Sun to name a few. Haley has released a few cover albums and some originals. Anything from her Lo-Fi Soul album is awesome. Another album is "Whats That Sound" featuring 60's rock covers. She did a commercial in 2015 for Wrigley's Extra Gum singing Elvis' "Can't Help Falling I Love" that went viral. It was a 2 minute ad that was like a mini movie about two teens dating which played on TV for quite a while but can still be found on YT. You can also find all of her performances on American Idol from 10 years ago. Lay It Down and Don't Know How to Love You are just 2 of her originals that are great, imo. PMJ is great but I came here for Haley, just sayin. Thanks Cliff
Pmj has at least a dozen singers killin' it. Go to a show. The the best arrangements. Incredible recreations of pop tunes. Check out thier story. From a weekly apt video to world tours without an album and sold out rooms
Haley is by far the most talented female vocalist to have ever performed with PMJ. As all of her stuff has the highest of all view counts on PMJ's very extensive TH-cam Channel. As everything Haley did with PMJ is excellent but "Seven Nation Army and "Oops I Did It Again" will both blow you away just as much as her "Creep" cover did.
Haley is one of the most amazing singers you will ever find -- possessing range, power, and excellent control. She grew up in the family band, and was probably on stage before she was born (her mom was the singer in the band!) Her song selections reflect the best of what audiences asked the family band to play -- going back into the '60s. PMJ is the creation of Scott Bradlee. His specialty is taking great songs from recent decades and reimagining them in styles that were popular during the mid - 20th century. Scott's the only constant in PMJ. After he arranges a song in one throwback style or another, he then recruits the necessary musicians and singers to perform it. PMJ's most popular videos are the ones featuring Haley, but there are MANY others. As Haley's Tusk posted below, there are also MANY performances by Haley that do not involve PMJ. If you enjoy great sounds from the '60s, check out Haley's performance of "The Letter" (Boxtops, 1967) th-cam.com/video/WBwbXIL6gWw/w-d-xo.html and "Baby It's You" (The Shirelles, 1961) th-cam.com/video/9h96OXZjfCY/w-d-xo.html
There are a few really good covers of Creep. But this one ... nothing even begins to come close to this performance. She's fantastic!! (And watching you love it makes the reaction special.)
Her original song: Don’t Know How to Love You is mind blowing too. Her dad plays the guitar in that one. It’s one of my all time faves. She has so many different styles and it’s fun to listen to all of her music.
Many years ago on American Idol, she was a little spitfire with a great big voice and more talent than she knew what to do with. She’s really refined herself.
I want to see you react to Morgan James - Take Me to Church by Postmodern Jukebox. With how much you loved this. You will definitely like that one!!! Hayley also did a colab with Morgan James of the song Dear Prudence which is also amazing!
This isn't just a one take. It's the first take. It was at the end of the recording day and it wasn't even planned. The arrangement was made for another singer but it never happened. She really liked it played around with it herself. Scott said they should try it and after the first take he basically said "No. That's it. That's the take. Perfect"
She is a very under rated singer because of her type of music she sings. She isn't pop enough for the music execs I guess. She is a very very good singer though as you can tell.
You need to check out Post Modern Jukebox. They do fabulous productions. Most times with different musicians and singers, except the piano player --I just went blank on his name. Shame on me. He’s the main man, the one who started this and does the arranging.--Haley Reinhart has been in several of PMJ’s productions. Morgan James is another outstanding singer who has sung some of PMJ’s productions.
OH, PMJ is the shiznit, for sure! They are amazing! First discovered this at my brother-in-law's wedding reception. It played low in the background of the meal, ya know before the DJ started. And it gave it a nice atmosphere; like an upscale cocktail party. Anyways, half through 'All About That Bass, I realized I recognized the lyrics! I was freaking out. This was the very next song after we figured out what they were doing, and badgered the poor DJ until he found the playlist, which was ALL PMJ, so my hubby & I now listen to them all the time. SO glad you did this, man!
Excellent reaction, thanks. That's one of my favs too. If you can find it....Haley and Morgan James cover The Beatles "Dear Prudence". Just a beautiful rendition. Enjoy!
Friend.....gotta hear her with these guys doing Seven Nation Army....Black Hole Sun....and All About That Base awesome....also they cover Dream On with Morgan James....you will shit!!!
Seven Nation Army, Love Fool, Black Hole Sun and All About That Bass should be on your list next for Haley and PMJ. There are loads more as others are suggesting
7 Nation Army cover with PMJ is another great Haley tune. Check her out with her dad, he plays a mean acoustic. Or check out PMJ with Morgan on Dream On cover which also rocks, or the two of them together doing a Beatles tune... I discovered them a couple days ago and I'm hooked!
Thank you. Your passion for great music is so clear. You are so transparent with your expressions, so real. The fact that you express your caring nature by offering to lend an ear. This separates you from the norm which is refreshing and appreciated. I just wanted you to know that it doesn't go unnoticed, a lot of us are struggling and unfortunately feeling alone. Again Thank you. 😊
Just discovered your channel and have spent the last 3 hrs going through your videos. I love your reactions and I appreciate your opinions. This song is my favorite pmj song ever, I'm so glad you reacted to it.
Great reaction. Hard to believe, but Hailey was ill and this was all done in one single take. You will love Dream On, as Morgan James is another incredible talent.

She gets you doesn't she? No matter how many times I watch this performance it gets me.
If you want to see more of Haley, I have 9 years and around 800 videos of Haley live performances. The performances are also in set list order playlists per show. She's a fantastic live performer.

Hello from Oz Haley love your work.
@HaleysTusk I am so thankful for your videos. She's really amazing! ❤️

Seven Nation Army by Haley Reinhard. Amazing
Check out her and PMJ doing Seven Nation Army!!!!!
A definite must.
seven nation army pmj+haley reinhart is * chef's kiss *
Dream On featuring Morgan James with this band is crazy good!
Yes!! This one's gotta get on the list!
Morgan James is just incredibly good, she and Haley sing together on a PMJ cover of “All about that bass” and it’s sooo good.
Yup, that version is absolutely stunning
YES! Morgan James is phenomenal. Their Dream On cover is better than the original and I love Steven Tyler.
Haley Reinhart is my very favorite female vocalist. She does a version of "Seven Nation Army". Amazing!
Haley is the most amazing singer out there now ...she works with other bands and also has 4 albums on her own 😻
Free is one of my favorites.
But still can't get LoFi Soul on CD here in the UK..!
Haley Reinhart was a contestant on American Idol approximately 10 years ago. She didn't win but she came in the top three I believe. Her rendition of House of the rising Sun during the competition received great acclaim.
Post modern juke box seven nation army featuring haley reinhardt she will blow your mind
Every time she hits the bridge, my body is covered in goosebumps!
PMJ, and Hailey did this in a single take! Now do "Dream On" with Morgan James and PMJ!!
Hang on to your hat!
Yo, Haley is the TRUTH! The fact that she isn’t insanely famous is a travesty!!!!
My wife heard 2 seconds and said “you’re listening to Haley without me?!”. Need to listen to Benny and the Jets, Seven Nation Army, House of the Rising Sun, and her own songs are all great.
The fact that she is not insanely famous is due to Haley holding herself back. This performance by Haley is a master class in vocals. Everything she sings is amazing
Wow, almost forgot about PMJ. Thanks for refreshing my memory. Haley Reinhart is fantastic. Black Hole Sun is also really good.
That's my favorite one by Haley.
That is one of Haley's best, most sultry, most colourful performance without saying other her performances are less...
even after years of hearing this song. i still, every time, have an emotional attachment to this version. Haley is simply incredible.
PMJ is a must have on any play list. They feature different vocalists in different covers which they re-imagine in various vintage genres. Here are some must see covers from them. "Seven nation army", "Dream on", "Maps", "All about that bass". They have an extensive catalog. Great reaction.
Love Yourself (Bieber cover) Ft: Sara Niemitz is definitely reaction worthy
Single take! YEAH, That's Hailey!
Haley Reinhart sings at ludicrous speed. Good beyond comment.
Go to Haley's channel check out can find my way home , with her dad playing guitar
PMJ is awesome!! Thanks for the reaction! I would love it if you reacted to an acapella group called 'Home Free'. Most reactors start with 'Man of Constant Sorrow' or 'Ring of Fire (featuring Avi Kaplan)'. :)
This is the first one I saw from postmodern. Love it...but my favorite is " take me to church " .
Different singer,bigger talent

Black hole sun is another great one from Hailey Reinheart

even when she breathes in sounds like part of song.
Not sure what the best cover of this song might be, but I'm very sure that this cover has to be one of the contenders.

Def do "Seven Nation Army" by PMJ and Haley.
