The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No weariness nor illness nor sorrow nor sadness nor hurt nor distress befalls a Believer, even to the pricking of a thorn, without Allah’s expiating some of his sins by it.” Allah tells us that after every hardship comes ease, so remember that there is no situation that will remain permanent. Be sure that after darkness there will be light and dawn will soon be followed by daybreak. Life is full of hardships but Believers must accept this as part of their test, and to face them with patience. Originally, suicide is an act that is totally forbidden in Islam. Suicide is not an option for you. Islamic teachings tell us that in committing suicide, one will incur the wrath of Allah to the extent that after death, one will suffer eternal punishment, i.e. a person committing suicide will be made to kill himself over and over again by the same means with which he took his own life. Referring to the aforementioned fact, Thabit Ibn Ad-Dahhaak quoted the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as saying: whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece of iron in the Hell-Fire.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari) Also the Hadith you quoted: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is also reported to have said: “A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him.” This is a horrible fate for anyone. The common reason behind thinking of suicide is always despair. As regards the remedy of this state, we’d like also to cite the following: “The remedy is hope. Allah made hopelessness unlawful by saying, “Do not despair of Allah’s mercy.” (Yusuf: 87) Thus, no matter at what level of despair, depression and frustration we are, whether loss of a loved one or a job, or as the result of anger from someone else, we must not give up hope as there is a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel. The greatest hope is mercy from Allah.

One, where he wishes the title of a chapter of his book is tattooed on the breast of every reader of the book just like how the fanatical followers of Mohammed often had verses from the Koran tattooed on their breasts. Two, where he is quoting from Dr. Alfred Adler's book 'What Life Should Mean to You'. At the end of it he says "A good deed," said the prophet Mohammed, "is one that brings a smile of joy to the face of another." With only two references, how does Dr. Anil Mohammed find (4:49) Mohammed to be the main theme of that book ? If that's true then what about Jesus who has been mentioned 36 times in the same book?

According to Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah ( earliest biographical record accepted by Muslims on the life of Muhammad), the prophet of Islam attempted to kill himself because he believed he was possessed by an evil spirit. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6982 / Al-Tabari, Volume VI] says- The Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up to the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down;

ഒരിക്കൽ പ്രവാചകന് തന്നെ അമ്പു ഖുവൈസ് പർവ്വതത്തിനു മുകളിൽ കയറി ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതായി ചരിത്ര ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങൾ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു്.ദിവ്യവെളിപ്പാടുകൾ അവതരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയ കാലഘട്ടത്തിലാണത്. ആറു മാസത്തോളം വഹ്യ് ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോൾ നാഥൻ തന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതായി പ്രവാചകന് തോന്നി.ആയതിൽ മനംനൊന്ത് പ്രവാചകൻ ഏറെ തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഘട്ടത്തിലാണത്. വിഗ്രഹ പൂജക്കെതിരെ ദിവ്യബോധനത്തിലൂടെ മാർഗ്ഗദർശത്തിന് കാത്തു നിന്നിട്ടും വഹ്യ് വന്നില്ല. തന്നെ നാഥൻ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതിനു ശേഷം പുറം തള്ളിയതായും അദ്ദേനത്തിനു തോന്നി. ഈ ഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യാൻ ആഗ്രഹം ഉടലെടുത്തത്. ആശങ്കാകുലമായ ഏറെ ദിനങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം " പ്രഭാതത്തെക്കൊണ്ടും രാത്രി വ്യാപിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിനെക്കൊണ്ടും സത്യം നിൻ്റെ നാഥൻ നിന്നെ കൈവെടിയുകയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല: തുടങ്ങിയ (ളു ഹാ ) ബോധനമിറങ്ങിയതും ആശ്വാസം ലഭിച്ചതും. മനുഷ്യമനസ്സിൻ്റെ എല്ലാ തരം അവസ്ഥകളെയും അറിയാനുതകുന്ന പാഠങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം അല്ലാഹു പ്രവാചകന് പഠിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കും. ലോകത്തിൻ്റെ വഴികാട്ടിയെ പരീക്ഷണത്തോടെ പതം വരുത്തിയതാണല്ലോ.

നിരീക്ഷണം ശരിയല്ല. ഒരു യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പരിക്കേറ്റ ധീരനായ സഹാബി പരിക്കിന്റെ വേദന സഹിക്കാനാവാതെ സ്വയം വാളിനിരയായി. പ്രവാചകൻ (സ) അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ജനാസ നിസക്കരിക്കയുണ്ടായില്ല. ശിക്ഷാർഹനാണെന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തത് ഹദീസ് ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ട്.

*Part - 1* ഈ വിഷയകമായ ചരിത്രബോധവും , ലോക യാഥാർത്ഥ്യവും നമുക്കിവിടെ ആദ്യം ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ അറിയാം. ഈയടുത്ത കാലം വരെ ലോകരാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ 5 മുതൽ പത്തുവയസുവരെയുള്ള പെൺകുട്ടികൾ വിവാഹം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ചരിത്രം സ്ഥിരീകരിക്കുന്നു. ചരിത്രാധ്യാപകയായ Margaret Wade Labarge തന്റെ A Medieval Miscellany , page 52 ൽ എഴുതുന്നു: " “It needs to be remembered that many Medieval widows were not old, Important heiresses were often married between the ages of 5 and 10 and might find themselves widowed while still in their teens.” 1960 കളിൽ ഐക്യ അമേരിക്കൻ നാടുകളിൽ, അമ്പത് വയസ്സുകാരന് പത്തു വയസിന് താഴെയുള്ള പെൺകുട്ടിയുമായി ദാമ്പത്യം നയിക്കുന്നതിന് നിയമപരമായി യാതൊരു തടസ്സവും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് സോഷ്യോളജി പ്രോഫെസ്സർ Anthony Joseph Paul Cortese വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. Opposing Hate , page 85 ൽ നിന്നും: "In 1962, the American Law Institute recommended that the legal age of consent to sex- that is, the age below which sex is defined as statutory rape- be dropped in every state to age 10 (Katchadourian and Lund 1972: 439). In fact, until the mid 1960s, the legal age of consent in Delaware was 7 (Kling, 1965: 216). Would it be7,10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, or 21? Over the last 300 years, all the ages listed above were thought to be that magic age at which one could make such a decision, and all the ages listed above have, at various times, been inscribed into law as the age of consent to sex.” കഴിഞ്ഞ 300 വർഷത്തിനിടയ്ക്ക് ഏഴു മുതൽ 21 വയസ്സ് വരെ പലപ്പോഴായി, പലയിടത്തും വിവാഹ പ്രായമായി തീരുമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് . 1880 ൽ വിവാഹ പ്രായം പത്തുവയസ്സായിരുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങൾ ഇനി പറയാം. Russia, Albania, California, Colarado, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idano, Illinois, Iriva, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin, Wyoming.. ഈ സമയം മറ്റു നാടുകളിൽ 12 ഉം 13 ഉം 14 ഉം ആയിരുന്നു വിവാഹ പ്രായം. ഇരുപത് വയസ്സ് നിജപ്പെടുത്തിയ ചിലി മാത്രമാണ് കുറച്ചു നേരത്തെ വിവാഹപ്രായം ഉയർത്തിയത്. 2007 ൽ പോലും വിവാഹപ്രായം 13 വയസ്സ് നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളാണ് സ്പെയ്നും അർജന്റീനയും . ഓസ്ട്രിയ, ബൾഗേറിയ, ജർമനി, പോര്ടുഗൽ, ബ്രസീൽ, ഇക്വോടാർ , കാനഡ, ഹാലി തുടങ്ങിയ നാടുകളിൽ 2007 ല്‍ പതിനാലു വയസ്സാണ്. ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ കാര്യം, 1920 ൽ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്ന വിവാഹപ്രായത്തെക്കാൾ കുറച്ചുകൊണ്ട് 2007 ൽ നിയമം പുതുക്കിയ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ പലതുമുണ്ട് എന്നതാണ്. ഇറ്റലിയും ബ്രസീലുമാണ് 16 ൽ നിന്നും 14 ലേക്ക് കുറച്ച രാജ്യങ്ങൾ. ക്യൂൻസ് ലാൻഡ്‌ പതിനേഴ്‌ പതിനാറാക്കി. 18 നെ 15 ആക്കിയ രാജ്യമാണ് Colorado. 18 ൽ നിന്നും 16ലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിവന്നവർ Kansan, Minnisota, Mississippi, Montana, Neveda, South Dekarta, Utah, Washington ര്ന്നിവ്രെയും കാണാം.. 18 ൽ നിന്നും 17 ലേക്ക് മാറിയവരും ഉണ്ട്: ലൂസിയാന, മിസ്സൌറി , നെബ്രാസ്ക, ന്യൂ യോർക്ക്‌, റ്റെക്സാസ് എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ. എറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന പ്രായ പരിധി വെച്ച ചിലിയിൽ പോലും 1920 ൽ 20 ആയിരുന്നത് 2007 ൽ 18 ആക്കി ചുരുക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.. അന്നും ഇന്നും വിവാഹ പ്രായം എന്നത് വെറും ആപേക്ഷികം മാത്രമാണ്.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No weariness nor illness nor sorrow nor sadness nor hurt nor distress befalls a Believer, even to the pricking of a thorn, without Allah’s expiating some of his sins by it.”
Allah tells us that after every hardship comes ease, so remember that there is no situation that will remain permanent. Be sure that after darkness there will be light and dawn will soon be followed by daybreak. Life is full of hardships but Believers must accept this as part of their test, and to face them with patience.
Originally, suicide is an act that is totally forbidden in Islam. Suicide is not an option for you. Islamic teachings tell us that in committing suicide, one will incur the wrath of Allah to the extent that after death, one will suffer eternal punishment, i.e. a person committing suicide will be made to kill himself over and over again by the same means with which he took his own life.
Referring to the aforementioned fact, Thabit Ibn Ad-Dahhaak quoted the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as saying: whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece of iron in the Hell-Fire.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari)
Also the Hadith you quoted: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is also reported to have said: “A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him.”
This is a horrible fate for anyone.
The common reason behind thinking of suicide is always despair. As regards the remedy of this state, we’d like also to cite the following:
“The remedy is hope. Allah made hopelessness unlawful by saying, “Do not despair of Allah’s mercy.” (Yusuf: 87) Thus, no matter at what level of despair, depression and frustration we are, whether loss of a loved one or a job, or as the result of anger from someone else, we must not give up hope as there is a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel. The greatest hope is mercy from Allah.

അവര്‍ അവരുടെ വായ്കൊണ്ട് അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പ്രകാശം കെടുത്തിക്കളയാനാണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്‌. സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക് അനിഷ്ടകരമായാലും അല്ലാഹു അവന്‍റെ പ്രകാശം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു.

സന്‍മാര്‍ഗവും സത്യമതവും കൊണ്ട് -എല്ലാ മതങ്ങള്‍ക്കും മീതെ അതിനെ തെളിയിച്ചു കാണിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി-തന്റെ ദൂതനെ നിയോഗിച്ചവനാകുന്നു അവന്‍. ബഹുദൈവാരാധകര്‍ക്ക് (അത്) അനിഷ്ടകരമായാലും ശരി.

Why did Muhammad attempt suicide?
According to Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah ( earliest biographical record accepted by Muslims on the life of Muhammad), the prophet of Islam attempted to kill himself because he believed he was possessed by an evil spirit. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6982 / Al-Tabari, Volume VI] says- The Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up to the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down;
