This movie left me feeling nostalgic, and I fell in love with all of the girls and their performances. I ended up buying the original Japanese release, as well as the subbed version, and I don't regret buying it twice. Also, Bae Doona rocks my world.
I have often thought it was a lead in for what became the slice of school life anime. Did you know that in Kyoto Animations, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya the episode "love alive" played homage to this movie?
@@thinkwithpurpose If you look, Kyon walks by a classroom with Korean letter on the glass, looking at a girl sleeping at a desk - also the whole band scene.
