Just purchased my Insta360 Ace Pro and getting familiar with it. The low light quality was my big draw to this camera. I do theme park videos, resort hotels and food reviews that are often indoors or evening/night. I'm hopeful this camera will allow for a great deal of quality improvement. Reviews I've watched have me excited. Your tutorials are loaded with great information.
how is it? I have another channel doing theme parks too and I'm stuck between just using my gopro 10 with a gimbal and light mod, or buying the insta360 ace pro. We're going to be recording the Halloween horror nights at Hollywood and going through haunted houses, so I need a good low light camera.
@@reddeadryan78 the Insta 360 Ace Pro is great with lower light. Definitely way better than my GoPro Hero 10 and 7 Black. I think for the really low light, an external light still will be the way to go. I have done some low light recordings that's less than impressive but still way better than my GoPro cameras.
Hi, I looked at your channel and you seem like a very sweet lady. Just wanted to let you know please take all these camera reviews with a grain of salt as they are VERY biased due to stealth marketing; these companies send free cameras or otherwise influence these reviewers for positive feedback. Not to say the cameras are bad, but they heavily lean toward getting you to spend on the "pro" version (when non-pro would be just as good if not better for your purposes) or for the current year's new model when there is not enough of a difference to make an upgrade. Good luck on youtube
This is the best action camera so far. And i do thank Go pro for setting the bar. They are still very good but this , well its a different animal. It can see in the dark lol. You know what i mean. Got get more involved with what it can do. Am so lazy when comes to reading instructions. I’ll get there eventually. Thanks for this video very helpful
@@reddeadryan78 Its funny , because even if a gimbal is not necessarily needed, I think, but if I do use one, it will add a certain flow to the footage, so why not?
Fantastic infor, mate. Best i checked. Appreciate if you could do another short video with setting up manual settings for low light when walking with a snap mount ha chesty.😊
Hi, Yes, a printed edition will be available, but I'm just a bit behind schedule because I was traveling. I would be happy to leave you a comment here once it becomes available. Thank you 🙏🏼 for your interest!
Pure Video mode looks good inside shops etc with fluorescent lighting or churches with natural and bulb lighting. I seem to get a better white balance using Pure Video and it’s clean as a whistle. When is the Kindle version of the book due in UK?
Wish it was good - but I get terrible street light flicker in Pure Video. Set my anti-flicker rate to 50Hz (correct for where I live) and tried in both 24 and 30fps - flicker is terrible, actually worse than GoPro12 (which is saying something).
Stabilization in pure video mode is turrned off everytime you turn of the camera. So you need to turn on stabilization manually every time. This is not okay since you forget
I agree that it would be much easier if your preference stayed on. I also find that very frustrating. Hopefully Insta360 will read your comment and adjust this setting. They are typically really responsive to listening to criticisms and making changes in firmware updates. For example, they already changed the option to manually turn on and off Active HDR, which is one thing many people suggested in comments.
@@WiljanWiljan Why so aggressive? You have no reason to blame him; at least he's done more than you- he turned his suggestions into videos and shared them with everyone, while all you do here is take pleasure in critiquing others
@@JordanHetrick Action cameras don't have a flip-up screen or a crappy magnetic clip mount. I havent been able to use my Ace Pro because I don't trust that mount.
Try pulling it off yourself …….😑 I guess not having a removable screen might be the reason. But …. That comes off if you need it to should anything happen anyway. Probably having the flippy screen up while skiing would be a pain, but not the mount.
Thanks for not making to long than go to the point ❤

Would you say a gimbal for nighttime would be useless for this camera?

Recieving my Ace Pro tomorrow! Glad I found this channel, very good tips and explanations! 👍
Just purchased the Ace Pro. Great tips, thank you for sharing !
Great to hear! Thanks for the comment!
Would a gimbal help this camera at night? Or is that not needed because of its night-time stabilizer
Nice content, subscribed! Need more tutorials like this please, I've seen great footage online from the ace pro and pretty in love with this camera!

What videocamera can you recommend for filming the sky at night (stars, satellites, planets etc.)
Are you going to have a printed version of your book on the Ace Pro?

Horizontal Lock works in Pure Video Mode?
Do I need to turn off stabilization if I use a tripod?
Which camera is best in low light ? This one or DJI Action 5 pro?

Thanks for your input and feedback! I agree with you. The book will be available on March 18 on Amazon. Thanks so much for the interest!
Wow nice😊
It does ok in low light, stabilization is it definite strength. Unfortunately not as good as a iPhone 14 or a full spectrum camera in very low light
Have u attempted to use the Insta360 Ace Pro as a B Camera in conjunction with a camera such as the Sony FX30? If so, how did that work out?😎😎
Anyone filmed fireworks on a tripod? Wondering if pure video or full manual wold be best?

@WiljanWiljan that was a bit harsh.

Ace Pro is not an action camera.
Why do you think that?
@@JordanHetrick Action cameras don't have a flip-up screen or a crappy magnetic clip mount. I havent been able to use my Ace Pro because I don't trust that mount.
The flip up screen locks down and the magnetic mount also has clips. It doesn’t come off unless released by the user!
@@iancraig bullshit. I asked Insta360 and they told me they don’t recommend the mount for extreme sports.
