What I love about watching you is you have an initial gamplan but you’re always flexible and can see in real time how to pivot to get the win. It’s underrated how important that is and how difficult it is when you are set on an idea of how you were planning on playing to win and then adjust accordingly
dude thank you so much i really appreciate that! I feel like i'm more of a read and react player than an expert planner. there might be more room for improvement on my end in terms of laying out really well thought out gameplan, but i also love being flexible throughout the game!
corner deserts = very high likely hood of multiple 3 hex spots left so I always look with that in consideration to placements. this naturally leads to roads being more valuable on these boards
can someone explain to me why on the final turn he couldn't just settle to win, he already had wood brick and wheat surely he could've just ported for sheep and road settled and won. without having to pull for vp
they outproduced us on cards by a lot but without taking road or army it balanced the point total. road and army matter so much in terms of winning the game!
SPOILERS BELOW! ... ... ...WILD game! What are the odds that you would not only roll a 2, but CALL rolling a 2, then have to dig in the deck and pull the very last VP? Call this man Hugh-gi Muto, lol...great game!

hey! i had no more settlements I had already built 5, so the only way to gain points is to pull a victory point or city
Roads are life.
roads are life, roads are family
It's not too often you see somebody produce 20 more cards than the rest of the board and not take first place what a wild game

i'm not sure, i was undecided. i think it was a good move but for some reason in game couldn't pull the trigger
i would have gone 8 5 10 to sheep port with 5 and 9 sheep
i can see that as well. definitely also a good idea
Rolling the 2 isn't luck if you call it
