I said it at an “alter call.” From that moment God began to change my heart, I turned from my old life, it’s hard to explain but I became a different person, I was born again. That was 35 years ago, my life hasn’t been perfect but God has guided me through.
I love this I have Been born only 5 days ago. I been reading my bible for months, but now I have to read and study almost all day long. It's all I think of and the love that is within me is more than ever God bless you brother

It is a revelation to think that my sin caused pain to Jesus. It can bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Jesus left the glory of heaven to become a man and a servant, to suffer and die to pay the price that my sin deserved. And now I continue to learn to hate sin, because God hates sin. And I want to please Him. God is pleased when we have faith in Jesus. May the Grace of God be with you.

Stress guy, life is not depressing when you receive the Holy Spirit. You haven't and it's time you do. Do not only watch this channel, the key is to know God. You need to read the Bible and find a friend that is faithful to God. Life is beautiful when your eyes are open. I was blind before now I see. Somewhat going through this now. I understand being lukewarm will send me to hell. At times there is things inside me that prevents me taking that next step.
One day i thought ray and kirk were corny. That night i repented and put my faith in jesus and the next day i loved them as brothers. It was the law that shamed me and showed me how hopeless i was outside of christ. If anyone reading this is ashamed of their past then please measure that shame against the ten commandments. That shame is a gift. It tells you that you have fallen short of gods perfection, let it break your heart by way of the law and drive you to the foot of the cross. Confess your sins, turn from them and put your faith in the lord jesus christ. Get yourself a bible and start with the first four books of the new testament. If it has footnotes check out those references jesus makes to the old testament. Continue with the new testament, use your footnotes to see how apostles handle scripture as well. It all leads to and from the cross where christ was crucified. You need the word of god every day. It comforts and corrects us. Let it be your guide and find yourself a good church. Seek and you will find.

Well said Kilik Macmarn! I think the key words you said are "truly repent". I have an aunt who says she's a Christian, believes in what Jesus did for her on the cross, but doesn't think she needs to feel bad or regret anything about her past- her life as a "wild child". She doesn't know the WHOLE Bible, only some stories she was taught growing up in the Catholic Church. She always says to me, "Didn't Jesus make a New Covenant? We don't need to know Old Testament." And I try to explain to her that we do, God gave us the Ten Commandments not to condemn us, but to show us that we need a savior, and to truly repent, which means truly be sorry for our past sins, change our ways- turn from them and turn to Jesus- trust in Him like you trust a parachute. No longer trust in ourselves, but trust in JESUS to save us from our sins. In other words, realize that we ARE sinners, and that we NEED HIM for our salvation! She doesn't get this, and she doesn't read the Bible so I pray for her- that He opens her spiritual eyes and ears.

Many people have prayed for me and fasted for me and I have fasted twice(once for three days and the second time for 6 days). But still I am in great pain. Some people say I am not healed because I don't believe, but that's not true, I KNOW that Jesus is my Lord and that He has the power to heal, I also know Paul was not healed, tho he asked three times. For new believers, I believe looking up words like believe, faith, repent, grace, follow me, obey, works - helps to understand what we are asked to do as followers of Christ, thru his grace. Also, when you really have Christ in your heart, you will truly be convicted when you sin, you will honestly feel it, physically in your body. You'll also feel terrible about your sins you've done in your past, you will truly be grieved by them. Another way you can truly see Christ has changed your heart, you will hunger for His Word, you won't be able to get enough of it. This are things I noticed in my conversion.

Brother Ray, I know you don't subscribe to the "sinner's prayer" but it doesn't mean many of us are not genuinely saved. I agree with how you are spreading the gospel. The way you see sin as serious I do the same.
We're not sinners because we sin; rather, we sin because we're sinners. God's been showing this all along. No one person has ever kept all the commandments, we know we're flawed and not perfect. Our so-called love... breaking hearts everyday, twice on Sunday. David cries out "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Goes back to Adam's disobedience toward God. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (Rom.5:12)."

I really do enjoy watching Ray's video's, but I don't think it's fair to imply if you sin, you aren't a true Christian or your salvation is lost. That bar is too high for anyone - but Jesus. We are all sinful and all in need of God's salvation. The difference is a Christian shouldn't delight in their sin, they shouldn't remain in their sin and should actively fight against it. Pray to Jesus for strength. You should strive to walk with Jesus in your walk as a Christian. "None is righteous, no, not one."
It’s all about your heart changing towards not repeating the same sins. Falling short is normal, but getting closer to what God wants means you’ve turned away and are trying to be more holy. The problem is thinking the sinners prayer has changed your heart. If you don’t build the relationship with Jesus in your heart and get to know His word, were you truly saved?
You are not saved if you wallow in your sin without repentance and remorse every time you sin... Because it is obvious that God has not given you a new heart. You make mistakes as a Christian, but as a real Christian you do not condone any of them, not a single one of them....

What I would also like to say though, is that I am not wholly convinced that Mike is incorrect in his, I agree that there is place for presumption for the position that you have taken, but I see no grounds for its conclusion. I might actually be inclined to place Mike’s words in harmony with those of the Apostle James. "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Could this not be what Mike is presenting to us for consideration? You might be right in your presumption, but a presumption is what it is, none the less. And it is for this reason that I see a certain irony with your closing quote with the use of James 4:11-12, and it is for that reason that I make my remarks to you. Sin is bad even in the New Testament, they have been accepted by Jesus Christ and are saved through faith (according to Romans 4:5 ) “5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” We need to know God doesn’t want us to sin

If someone says you have to add Anything to the Full payment of Jesus Christ on the cross for the remission of ALL your sins, they say he died in vain, which is not true. NO NEED to fill out a card, join a church, go to a confessional booth or get water baptized, these are not requirements for salvation! Our faith is accounted as righteousness: "However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness." (Romans 4:5) Hallelujah, praise the Lord!
I've noticed that when people on your videos become uncomfortable they start drinking water, smoking quickly, fidgeting, or looking around. The looking around or getting easily distracted by outside sources could also show disinterest. That stare from Samuel with pursed lips when telling him the parable, there seemed to be a lot of tension with him and I felt he was going to lash out at you, almost like he was holding himself back. If he didn't finish that cigarette or joint before then he would continued chugging away at it instead. A police officer's humble perspective 😁

It’s interesting that Ray dislikes the ‘sinners prayer’ yet tells the young man to pray a ‘sinners prayer ‘ when he gets home! I was saved by saying the ‘sinners prayer’ in John Stott’s book ‘Basic Christianity’ over forty years ago. I went on to be in full time ministry as an evangelist and church planter. A ‘prayer’ can’t save you, but believing what you pray can, although I would say there does need to be repentance included. “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord she’ll be saved” the Bible says. Praying a prayer to receive salvation is doing just that surely. I do acknowledge that just by saying the words of a prayer is not enough, it has to be mixed with faith,

One day i thought ray and kirk were corny. That night i repented and put my faith in jesus and the next day i loved them as brothers. It was the law that shamed me and showed me how hopeless i was outside of christ. If anyone reading this is ashamed of their past then please measure that shame against the ten commandments. That shame is a gift. It tells you that you have fallen short of gods perfection, let it break your heart by way of the law and drive you to the foot of the cross. Confess your sins, turn from them and put your faith in the lord jesus christ. Get yourself a bible and start with the first four books of the new testament. If it has footnotes check out those references jesus makes to the old testament. Continue with the new testament, use your footnotes to see how apostles handle scripture as well. It all leads to and from the cross where christ was crucified. You need the word of god every day. It comforts and corrects us. Let it be your guide and find yourself a good church. Seek and you will find.

I have an aunt who says she's a Christian, believes in what Jesus did for her on the cross, but doesn't think she needs to feel bad or regret anything about her past- her life as a "wild child". She doesn't know the WHOLE Bible, only some stories she was taught growing up in the Catholic Church. She always says to me, "Didn't Jesus make a New Covenant? We don't need to know Old Testament." And I try to explain to her that we do, God gave us the Ten Commandments not to condemn us, but to show us that we need a savior, and to truly repent, which means truly be sorry for our past sins, change our ways- turn from them and turn to Jesus- trust in Him like you trust a parachute. No longer trust in ourselves, but trust in JESUS to save us from our sins. In other words, realize that we ARE sinners, and that we NEED HIM for our salvation! She doesn't get this, and she doesn't read the Bible so I pray for her- that He opens her spiritual eyes and ears.

Many people have prayed for me and fasted for me and I have fasted twice(once for three days and the second time for 6 days). But still I am in great pain. Some people say I am not healed because I don't believe, but that's not true, I KNOW that Jesus is my Lord and that He has the power to heal, I also know Paul was not healed, tho he asked three times. Perhaps I'm not meant to be healed😔 Pray for me to persevere and be able to do the things that need to be done in my house, cleaning, cooking and laundry. So painful... God bless!

For new believers, I believe looking up words like believe, faith, repent, grace, follow me, obey, works - helps to understand what we are asked to do as followers of Christ, thru his grace.
Also, when you really have Christ in your heart, you will truly be convicted when you sin, you will honestly feel it, physically in your body. You'll also feel terrible about your sins you've done in your past, you will truly be grieved by them.
Another way you can truly see Christ has changed your heart, you will hunger for His Word, you won't be able to get enough of it.

Brother Ray, I know you don't subscribe to the "sinner's prayer" but it doesn't mean many of us are not genuinely saved. I agree with how you are spreading the gospel. The way you see sin as serious I do the same.

We're not sinners because we sin; rather, we sin because we're sinners. God's been showing this all along. No one person has ever kept all the commandments, we know we're flawed and not perfect. Our so-called love... breaking hearts everyday, twice on Sunday. David cries out "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Goes back to Adam's disobedience toward God. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (Rom.5:12)."

I really do enjoy watching Ray's video's, but I don't think it's fair to imply if you sin, you aren't a true Christian or your salvation is lost. That bar is too high for anyone - but Jesus. We are all sinful and all in need of God's salvation. The difference is a Christian shouldn't delight in their sin, they shouldn't remain in their sin and should actively fight against it. Pray to Jesus for strength. You should strive to walk with Jesus in your walk as a Christian. "None is righteous, no, not one."
It’s all about your heart changing towards not repeating the same sins. Falling short is normal, but getting closer to what God wants means you’ve turned away and are trying to be more holy. The problem is thinking the sinners prayer has changed your heart. If you don’t build the relationship with Jesus in your heart and get to know His word, were you truly saved?

Pusalieth: Having read, and considered your words, and also those of Mike in his comments, and those between yourselves, I would like to say that I agree with your theology, and your presentation of it wholeheartedly.
What I would also like to say though, is that I am not wholly convinced that Mike is incorrect in his, I agree that there is place for presumption for the position that you have taken, but I see no grounds for its conclusion.
I might actually be inclined to place Mike’s words in harmony with those of the Apostle James.
"Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?" James 2:21, 22
The question should be then- How is "faith wrought" so that it should produce works? Because we do know, that "faith works."
Many who read these words conclude that James is saying that Abraham was justified by his own works of faith. "Seest thou how faith wrought?" But this is ever the mark of living faith, as the apostle is showing. And that is just the statement of the apostle Paul in Romans 3:31 “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”
This verse tells us that by faith we establish the law. Moreover, the very term "justification" shows that faith performs the requirement of the law. Faith makes a man a doer of the law, for that is the meaning of the term "justification by faith." So in James we read that the works of Abraham simply showed the perfection of his faith. "And the Scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness." The apostle James, therefore teaches the same kind of justification that Paul does. If he did not, one or the other or both of them would be discredited as apostles.
Justification by faith which works is the only kind of justification known in the Bible.
Could this not be what Mike is presenting to us for consideration?

Sin is bad even in the New Testament, they have been accepted by Jesus Christ and are saved through faith (according to Romans 4:5 ) “5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” We need to know God doesn’t want us to sin

Salvation is the FREE gift of God and He would that all would be saved. If someone says you have to add Anything to the Full payment of Jesus Christ on the cross for the remission of ALL your sins, they say he died in vain, which is not true. NO NEED to fill out a card, join a church, go to a confessional booth or get water baptized, these are not requirements for salvation! Our faith is accounted as righteousness:
"However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness." (Romans 4:5)

I've noticed that when people on your videos become uncomfortable they start drinking water, smoking quickly, fidgeting, or looking around. The looking around or getting easily distracted by outside sources could also show disinterest. That stare from Samuel with pursed lips when telling him the parable, there seemed to be a lot of tension with him and I felt he was going to lash out at you, almost like he was holding himself back. If he didn't finish that cigarette or joint before then he would continued chugging away at it instead. A police officer's humble perspective 😁

It’s interesting that Ray dislikes the ‘sinners prayer’ yet tells the young man to pray a ‘sinners prayer ‘ when he gets home! I was saved by saying the ‘sinners prayer’ in John Stott’s book ‘Basic Christianity’ over forty years ago. I went on to be in full time ministry as an evangelist and church planter. A ‘prayer’ can’t save you, but believing what you pray can, although I would say there does need to be repentance included. “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord she’ll be saved” the Bible says. Praying a prayer to receive salvation is doing just that surely. I do acknowledge that just by saying the words of a prayer is not enough, it has to be mixed with faith,
