It was a real mistake to add the VGTs to a class with real cars. The first Gran Turismo had the concept car, so I get why they're in the game. However I think most people (including me) don't find them interesting or compelling and would like them to be in a silo away from challenge laps or daily races. Having them in Gr1 is just silly.
@@auf_kollisionskurs3828lap time wise is not much different even for track like Le Mans that heavily favor engine power. But the Ts030 is very easy on the tire and fuel consumption. I dont actually need to put.
I don't think the Nissan is working as it should. When it raced IRL it was FWD, slow and very understeery because it didn't have energy recovery unit (it wasn't ready yet) - which was supposed to drive rear wheels making the car AWD and giving it a very different behavior. The game devs seem to have put the energy recovery unit into the car, but then why is this car still so slow and why does it behave like that?
Exactly, if the car was fully finished IRL it could have actually been good. The idea was that the front tyres would be wide and the rears narrow, giving it enough grip for accelerating with FWD, and also better cornering grip. The extra weight of the engine in the front would help too. With the different layout they could also make the aerodynamics more efficient, for higher top speed with the same downforce. Sadly the flywheel hybrid system didn't work very well, and Nissan cancelled the project after one race (and before the development was finished).
I feel like PD is having some licensing issues which is why the cars are groupped like that instead of going with lmp,dtm,gt3 etc. But at the same time we do have "Group B" so i dont know...
Group B as a rally class was demolished so PD could do whatever they want there. There was a leaked Group A daily race in GT Sport years ago and has no eligible cars.
Grand turismo needs to update these races like how Le Mans does IRL. Don't put all cars in one group in the start. Program the lobby with slots for each group when filled forces players to pick a different class. Hypercar, LMP2, and LMGT3 starts in different sections of the track.
watching your Gr1 and Gr2 races are quite fun. HOPEFULLY PD adds some of the current LMDH cars (most importantly the Lamborghini SC63) but also the Ferrari 499, Porsche 963. I would also love to see an expansion of Gr2. SUPER GT should be extended to at least European Manufacturers as well (imagine Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 spec’d for Gr2)
IF only the car ever worked as it was supposed to do..... it would been a great machine D: everyone said its a great car once you got used to it but the hybrid never worked because Nissan couldnt make their mind up and it got way too complicated... What you see here is just how the hybrid in reality worked. It did not. Oh yeah not to mention, the hybrid system would have given this car basically all wheel drive which would helped the handling by ALOT.
I seriously have respect for people who are good in sim racing.. i tried it last week (Assetto Corsa Competition and Gran Turismo 7)and i was struggling (I've never even driven in real life before)
Like with anything multiplayer you stand no chance in comparison until you put in the hours. It's no different in that from a FPS or RTS or anything, really. Practice, practice, practice. It'll come.
Personally its not about getting good, its about having fun and enjoying it. Once you enjoy it and spend more and more time doing it, you get much better and it gets much easier. From experience - I've only started playing gt7 (or any racing sim) only a year ago, but I enjoyed it so much that I'd say I gotten pretty decent real quick! They need to separate these cars into Gr.C for all the older Group C cars, Gr.1 for the modern or semi modern LMP1 cars, and Gr.VGT for all the VGT Gr.1 cars.
I don't know if this helps, but if you can manage to keep your accelerator constant during turns the FF will essentially drag itself through the corners as opposed to wanting to understeer on you all the time. If you take your foot completely off the accelerator, the car is going to want to decelerate, and when decelerating the car will want to go straight, sort of like braking. But if you can manage to slow the car to the optimal speed, and use your accelerator correctly to keep the front wheels moving, the car should almost feel like it's dragging itself through the corner helping your lap times. It sounds counter intuitive, but FFs are counter intuitive... 😅😂 It takes a bit to get used to, and there is a very fine line between grip and understeer, but once you do get the hang of it, it might change your stance on the GTR LM 💁🙂 would love to see a vid of you giving it a go if you decide to 😁.
