will the CPU run favorite plays, if you change the offensive settings for one team and start playing with another? I'm struggling to make the CPU play in the post (76ers and Nuggets)
First let me say: great video and thank you man for all of your hard work. Second: 2k don’t give a f*** about it, they used to and listen to the crowd… but no anymore. They only think about MP, MYpark and how to make more money from these game modes.

Cpu only runs a defualt freelance they never run plays on last gen i have to manually switch teams and select a series or playthrough a player then it switches back to the freelance after a timeout
I agree. Whenever I'm playing the CPU will just run through the same actions which usually involve passing the ball around the perimeter a couple times with barely any movement. Like what is the point of adding so many plays if the CPU won't even run them/

Hi there, seeking for help. I run a series in nba 2k23, for example, "Iverson Series", and then throughout couple of possessions my series automatically switching for something else like "Boston Zipper". What do i do?
Good Stuff. One thing I will say as a current gen guy who's played over 3 complete seasons on 2k23. The "do not repeat" for the freelance series has nothing to do with the ACE cycling through the 4 freelances you pick. It only has to do with the "series" you may choose to run from the timeout menu. But good info otherwise.
Thx my man appreciate the comment! So if u just leave the timeout menu stuff alone and select ur 4 freelances, u don't get any difference at all when u change it from "repeat on success" to "do not repeat"? U only get a difference if u actually go into the timeout menu and select a series?
Yep still lookin good on that front my friend! Well I guess there is one thing...but we're about to take care of that this week in the next video!! It has to do with the player regression and the assists simulation slider being linked for no reason. I got 2 options for methods to work around it👍👍
Love the detail man but there’s way bigger issues. The steals by the CPU are getting ridiculous. Pick and roll is all but impossible now and CPU steals the ball 100% of the time. CPU just had 24 steals on me

@@tamro9701 turn help all the way down, especially if you're on myteam, and the run plays, turn it all the way up if you just let the cpu call plays for you and u always wanna have a play to run
Yeah that's one of the main problems I go over in the video...sounds like ur on next gen. Yeah it doesn't mix up anything with the freelances. It just runs like the same 2 actions over and over. There's few things we can do to get it to mix it up...kinda complicated to explain here, but if u go back to the 4:20 mark in the video, that's where I get into all that. We basically wanna leave the freelances alone and go with one of the other options I go thru in the vid. I like setting the series to something and then at halftime or maybe b4 the 4th Q I'll go back into the menu and switch it up. It does a good job of mixing up the diff actions in the series u select. And then there's the diff gameplan things at the top. Those I get into around the 9:00 mark. If u just watch from like 4:20 to 10:45 u'll be good to go. There's just too much to explain right here in the comments but it's all in there! And lemme know of course if there's anything else👍👍
I hate how every damn game I have to adjust something or crack up the shot success rate and still end up with a piss poor experience. Dunk meter needs to have an option to turn it off for offline players like myself

@@ThePopboy yes at first it was set to default. then when you start a new game again it will picked up the 1st freelance. it does not dynamically change nonetheless.
Does anyone know if there is a way to edit individual players morale? It was there at the very end of stats in quick edit last gen, but it's not there on 2k23. I'm trying to have a MyNBA with the Hornets, and I'm sick of JT Thor being pissed off when he gets sent to the G-League, even 2 way guys, like Maledon (whose jumpshot I really like btw) get pissed off when and loosing 4 in overall stats when I HAVE to send him back cause his 45 days in the NBA expired.
Yeah I know what u mean. I'm actually testing right now to see if the morale setting actually only applies to the user team. It def was not that way before, but I'm actually finding zero affects so far for cpu controlled teams. If that actually is the case, that would mean we could lower the morale sliders (under the difficulty category) to help with these issues WITHOUT affecting the rest of the league. A couple questions that would really help...do u notice the cpu teams in ur league having many issues with guys getting pissed? Or r u like man why the hell is it ONLY my players!!?? Also, what do u currently have the morale sliders set at?
@@ThePopboy nope, nothing every ai player is ether Fine, Okay, Content, or Satisfied. The variety of morale is much better in my team.. Even the AI guys that are assigned to the G-LEAGUE, where the social media tab says that the assignment is "shocking", they are fine.

No...I mean I WISH it could also be used for cpu vs cpu!! But it doesn't let us access that type of coaching/strategy stuff when it's cpu vs cpu. I've been saying for a while now that 2K should let us turn on like a cpu vs cpu mode for any game and then just let us customize anything and everything!! I really don't see why not...I mean it's cpu vs cpu so it's not like a competitive advantage situation or cheesing or anything like that. So yeah sorry for the long explanation, but this is just for the user's team. CPU teams handle their own stuff
Older 2k ran way better I think 2k is adding to much to the game they add 10 badges every year on top of the ones they already have I give My self 1 more year for 2k if they don't get it together I done. Madden game play is way better they just gotta fix them some timey glitches
Yeah it still has some weirdness but I actually think it's better this year...here's what I do: I'll fill out my list of fav plays, and then I'll literally leave all the freelances and the series thing on auto. What that does is it makes ur coach call a random play from ur playbook each time down the floor. So sometimes I'll like the play call and run what he calls and sometimes I'll override it and call something else. But at least he's not calling some freelance where they just run the same 2 actions every time. That's what I hated about 2K23. But now at least I know he's gonna call a play that I know and like! Of course u wanna customize ur playbook and get to know ur plays but u'd wanna do that anyway. Try doing it like that and lemme know!!👍
You’re so right. Way too many settings. Too many settings. I play online ranked, so sliders don’t affect online (just offline mode) Too many adjustments to be made without real results. NBA jam didn’t have sliders
