I use the 82 game season and play differently. I’ll play at least 4 full games each season; opening day, around Christmas Day, and one post trade deadline then after the extension deadline. I will do simcast and hop into the 4th quarter of close games about 6-8 times a season. This way I can play with my core guys and try to play pressure moments. I’m the playoffs I play every elimination game, and I simcast most games looking for close ones to jump into. I’ve found it to be my favorite way to go about the game. I get to play with the team often enough to know the players. If I’m really enjoying a roster I built, I’ll hop in way more often and play, but that usually doesn’t happen until I’m 6-7 years in.
I can't freaking wait to see what 2K does for 2K24, especially as a history buff. Gosh, imagine if EA Sports put the same effort into Madden and created such a mode with depth. You know EA has the money to pay for as many classic players as possible, given how much money they bring in from not only sales but the Ultimate Team clowns.

@@cappajonna4285 you can either stop the gameplay, jump in then pause and go to instant replay and rewind as far as possible. Or after the game look at the box scores highlights and it will show you that way as well
I've found that for ps5 the "50+ real players" series of user draft classes are the deepest in the community. Idk if you've found a better creator but those are my personal go to since 95% of the time both round 1 and round 2 are filled with real players (sometimes auto generated people slip in but they usually don't get signed).
@@MikeLowe47 probably means the detail ones or whatever they're called. It's the ones with the highest downloads. Even for the 2025+ classes the description will say stuff like "60+ real players" and what not. They killed it. Though this was 2 months ago so you prob already know by now
MyNBA lacks and issues. Lacks: 1. Free agent signing and player trade conversations - They had this on previous 2ks i donnt know why they took it off while it adds a realism to the simulation. 2. Cut Scenes of Championship Parade, Draft Day, and Trade and Draft Acquisitions - FIFA has this dope cut scenes with their manager mode (Playersignings and Trades) 3. Draft Combines - Only the scouting reports and draft combine stats are the basis now when drafting players. Back then 2k has this combine or workout invites to the players that are joining the draft so we can feel their playstyle idk again why did they remove this. Should be added again and put other playable draft combine drills/ 4. Player Morale Impact - During 2k14 and 15 we can pitch players to sign and sometimes disgruntled players that are planning to leave for free agency only needs to be talked to so ttheir morale will go up again. Idk again why tf did they remove this. This helps balancing the simulation of creating a super team. Issues 1. Too many players are retiring even if they are young. 2. Challenge for a call sometimes are buggy you dont see the insant replay even if you dont push any button it goes fast forward to the result. 3. Courts in Eras cant be replaced I know tthis has to do something with the legal rights of jerseys and courts. 4. Injured Player recovers too fast even though I have adjusted the settings. (e.g Joel Embiid in one of my saves got hurt 1st month of tthe season and is ruled out for the season after only three months he has recovered this injury lol My Wishlist 1. Add FIBA Games in the MyNBA current era i know it also has something to do with legal rights with FIBA but like EA on FIFA they have rights on different leagues and even world cup. As the season progress a football player is pulled out from the team for their national team duties. I hope they add this to 2k or if not EA might capitalize this from its Association Mode. Since they are known from having multiple rights of sports platform. 2. Be a GM/Coach of a National Team like Fifa other countries can offer you a international Job. 3. Bring Back everything thatt I mentioned on tthe Lacks List.
Well you could get fired. I played this with my brother and we wondered why suddenly he doesnt have control for his team. We checked the news and transaction report, he just got fired saying GM of his team was fired
Look it's simple you go to the sliders reduce the trade frequency at the end of every season go to options/team selection/ select them all to control all the teams when the draft come you get the picks for every team you just draft every player in his most iconic team 🙃
Yep people would be suprised. I’m not sure if I’m the only one but with 2k21 and 22 combined I probably did 15 seasons. All seasons 82-0 besides 1 I think. Just made the playoffs in 23 for the first time and hope to keep going. Went 82-0 on hall of fame 😅 that’s my fun

You can also find rappers and other types of celebrities! the looks of them might not be right so keep looking until you find what you want or the closest to the real person. You’re welcome! You can create a NBA in your head and put it in the game l. I do it every year! If you want to get really Realistic with the created players that you create or get from these lists, you can put them in a draft class an draft them into your league so they won’t be undrafted players it just looks better.

Just asking cuz i made an OP player who broke the steals record for a season, so i checked the record books and saw that it was glitched, and showed the incorrect number of steals i had and placed me in 2nd i stead of 1st. I'm confused on why they made the changes they did for some reason even when we are winning my head coach trust keeps going down so it's taking away some of the things that I can do. It's not like the old game where you can have conversations with them and different things like that other than your goals and most of the coaches goals are year round so I won't get it until the end of the year they took away all of the presentation features for what I have no idea. There's no halftime show. There is no pregame show. No nothing. I love the new additions they made but they took away the detail from the mode

I started a myera online league in the kobe era. Whenever I load in a 2003 draft class, all of those prospects are available to sign as free agents? Is this a bug or is something going wrong
I actually have an idea for NBA2K specifically when it come to the 1990 era presentation. Wouldn't it be awesome? If they could to pay for the NBC license so it could be for the 1990s because when it comes to the NBA in the 1990s the NBA on NBC theme song in what I think of a good time and if you look at that part of the game mode you can tell that it was modeled after the NBA on NBC presentation.
I'm not sure about hand checking, but I'm pretty sure there's an offseason option/rule change to ban zone defense. I'm certain I saw it in one of the earlier Eras.
You could do a bit of tinkering on your own (setting things to auto-sim), but that's probably not what you have in mind. I do think in the future, Eras will include a start in any year you want. That might be as early as 2K25.

Iv had the same problem, unless they are a superstar kind of player. I just edit the player and will give them a bronze version of the badge I think they deserve and usually developers from there
U have to set up individual training at the medium to high level in your off day practice. Having a mentor also helps tremendously. Takes some time to set it up but it definitely works

Yeah, release everyone you dont want whos on a 1 year deal. Sign a whole bunch of 65-69 overalls on 1 years. Trade for as many picks as possible with the people on long term contracts, and sim away

You actually can see replays in the box score tab. Plus if you stop the sim mid game you can rewind the entire gameplay n watch it thru the replay tab

I'm not sure about hand checking, but I'm pretty sure there's an offseason option/rule change to ban zone defense. I'm certain I saw it in one of the earlier Eras.

Depends on the option. From what you're saying, you'd want to have most options controlled by the CPU which usually means the option is set to On.
