    Thanks for the overview. I also like how Threads and Collections can be shared. It's also good that Arc Web Browser provides Perplexity as a default search engine for its browser.

      Really happy to hear! I use Final Cut Pro so it may be a bit extra for tutorials 😅. Also, haven't used it myself but apparently Clipchamp may be worth a try for tutorials.

    I don't have a 'view sources' button on my interface?? I just have a 'copy' button and an 'edit query' button. Is 'view sources' only a pro feature? I asked Perplexity this question and it tells me that all users free/paid should have the view sources button, but I don't :(

    AI is about to comprehend our Simple Lives, and then beat them into submission using algorythms😊
    (NOT because it WANTS to, but because it was DESIGNED to do so)
    We are afraid of what has been DESIGNED and stiff cannot stop those who design and cannot trust them with our lives, privacy, money and children. This says ALOT❤

    Now Gemini disappeared and Claude 3 version Opus appears. Perplexity is the only A.I that allows Pro users to get, for 20 $ ! ChatGPT 4 turbo, and Claude 3. Plus many other A.I like Mistral. Best bargain ever.

      True. I often switch between models and am surprised how one can deliver superior results in one effort but another being better in a second effort.

    The video may have missed one tip I saw on another video: that you can edit the sources used on a thread to remove a source that isn't helpful.
    Other than that one minor tip, this video was far more comprehensive than others.
    Great job!

    Is the information in the model 2 - 3 years old, or is it current? If old like OpenAI, then forget it.

    So perplexity does not do image generation like chat gpt DALLE?

    • @AIcents
      @AIcents  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Indeed, Perplexity seems to try generate an image that best matches or answers the query you give it. Though behind the scenes it could very well be using GPT4 (same model as DALLE) to generate the image

      I could not care if something is open source or not, just give me the most powerful, non-woke tool.
      People need to get a grip.
      Edit: Google just dropped Gemini 1.5, apparently 1 MILLION token limit and 99% recall. Won't get too excited yet. Why would l want a half baked locally ran model, when l have a tool which can work with 100,000 lines of code...

    I love Perplexity, but to be honest I prefer Krawl AI over Perplexity after discovering it. It's more work-focused and I can get lot more things done using it because of the "tools" concept they introduced. Plus they are adding new tools to it almost every other week
