I have been using Perplexity for a few months now. It is a stark departure from prior methods of searching. However, it has opened the door further to receiving an accurate information and the need to better understand how to structure a query. Overall, I love the video. I’m looking forward to the next deep dive. Given the data of the free version is limited to 2021. I am curious about discoverability and more granular filtering. With all of the AI services now, it’s difficult to evaluate pricing.
Across the board, agreed! I also hear you on evaluating pricing - so many choices! Not only is it hard to commit due to the vast array of different options, but those on offer change almost by the week! Not to mention that it's hard to pay for one of these premium services when you can almost always find a free version that has whatever particular feature you might be looking for at the moment.

What is the popup paste tool you are using in the video to paste for example prompts
Ha ha, good eye, and great question! 💪 That is the Windows 📋 Clipboard History. Pressing the Windows + V keys enables and summons it. Truthfully? It's the tiniest of game changers! 🤓
You could try asking the quesrtion "I'm not big on maths, how can i make use of wolfram alpha AI search for non-maths subjects?". You'd find the answer interesting, and we might too! Thanks though. Always good content.

I've been using perplexity and appreciate its quickness now I'm looking to expand my usage in other features in the more advanced category do you know if they have any plans to allow you to easily access on a Android mobile phone like Google Voice Assistant to allow you to chat with it and retrieve information and have a full chat
That's a great question! I don't personally know, but if I had to guess, I would say probably not, for two reasons: first, perplexity is turning out to be a very direct competitor to Google (specifically, search), and second, I'm guessing Google will try to push Gemini to replace its Google Assistant first. But who knows? We shall see! Thank you for asking! 🙏

I notice that when you select hiking it gives you information on specific trails and stuff but for everything else it just says “enjoy dinner at local restaurant” and “relax at a local brewery” which were things you already mentioned you wanted to do but provides no recommendations for restaurants or breweries

Can I give Perplexity a link instead of a pdf doc for data analysis or content summarization? E.g. a lengthy regulation that takes so much time to read and understand. Many thx and great video btw. I am new to Perplexity

when you say logged in, to what ? The link or perplexity. I thought it only dealt with its own content to 2021.
I signed up to it for a year, I prefer something like that which doesnt have an MS association (it tells me) so I'd rather do my research with that
