I've created somewhat of a unique setup it has to do with drag racing without any electrical power it's basically mechanical catapult power using powerful bungee cords. My question is since it is a drag strip when the cars reach the end if they were turned around and raced back the other way, which I call relay racing. would the scanner pick up the cars going both ways from beginning to end spin them around and back to the beginning, something like a track and field relay.
Track is accumulated from afx 4 lane international set, 15 straights from ebay, afx racemasters track pack, I made custom guard rails using plexiglass cut in strips about one and ahalf inches wide and clips from a piece of aluminum window track sliced up into 3/4 inch pieces. Also picked up a bag of lane bridge supports for double wide lanes from eBay. Also anFX 12 inch banked curve set in a 9 inch bank curve set. Are use track clips as well to clip for five pieces of track together so when I disassembled the track I could do it in sections and put the track together extremely quickly when setting it up again. Permanent layouts on big boards are great I don’t have the space in my house so I’ve got a creative in how I set up tracks on our big island in the kitchen. Four-lane tracks are the way to go when we have guests for parties they absolutely love it. folks that never even heard of slot cars are amazed at how fun they are.
works fine for 1/32 two lanes. you need to adjust height and width of photo capture, and play around with sensitivity. The phone needs to be isolated from any movement of track as cars go by (so mounted separately) and avoid moving shadows/changing light conditions. Set up carefully, it’s brilliant and practically free.
That’s part of the 1975 AFX Jackie Stewart volcano lava sot car set that was prototyped, but never sold due to potential melting hazard. The Easy Bake Oven playset was canceled shortly after.

@@MiguelA99 Nice! Colour recognition hey
Does it work for 1:32 scale?
I think it should work for any scale provided you have the screen space to have the app see the cars
Yep that should work for any scale car.
