Z fold 5 is about the best fold phone can be. I don't plan to update until stylus is in the body. Simple.
@NEILANIL1 I totally agree... I love the size and the round corners of the zfold5. Im not buying a foldable sharp corner phone. I wish they could bring back the infinite edge so I can move the cursor to the edge with my case.
Only improvements i would like to see for the fold 6 are better primary camera, brighter screens, front screen compatible with SPen and all software capabilities of the current S Ultra.

As someone who has been using the zfold 5 since it was launched in india, I think the dimensions of the phone re good in general. If the cover display is widened it will make the inner display even more squared off, which will just add extra black bars while watching videos. Atleast the photos are great to view on this device, but if samsung decides to widen it, then photos will also start showing black bars. Using instagram is really cool in fold 5 as it perfectly matches the photo size and lets us watch a full picture in the huge display ( in normal candy bar phones around 1 and half photos are seen including caption and comments, hence reducing photo size). But if samsung follows competition( like oneplus) and widens the screen portrait photos won't be completely visible in a square device. The cover displays narrow aspect ratio is really great after you get used to it. You'll find other candy bar phones to be too thick once you use it for long enough. And the best part is the cover screen's aspect ratio is just perfect for watching movies (21:9)
If this is it official for the Fold 6 then I will stick with my fold 4... and upgrade to a competitor that will be releasing their new versions...

I hope this the cheaper version if not im disappointed in Samsung.
There is chatter (from reliable sources), that this official Z Fold 6 is not the "budget" version. It is in fact the real actual regular Z Fold 6.
So instead of releasing a cheap version, and a regular version. What Samsung will do is release the regular version, as we've seen. And release the EXTRA expensive but better "ULTRA" version. That nobody has seen yet.
I sure hope that's true.

@@polofunk I would think so, it makes sense marketing wise. It's easier to market the phone ONCE, rather than twice for two different versions. Also if they release one first, people who don't want to wait for the Ultra will just buy the regular one, and that's a potential loss in sales.
I just can't wait for one of these companies to have that big breakthrough with these foldables. Eventually one of them is going to figure something out with the inner screen that makes its durability no longer a question to the normal consumer.
Z Fold NEEDS to include S pen inside and best camera and wider primary screen.
Take an s 24 ultra and make it a fold.
Put the folding part to the left of an s 24 with a cover screen that is compatible with S pen.
Yeah lets see a surprise ULTRA version with the S24 cameras, bigger display and MAYBE an implemented s-pen. Not the most important, but a wider phone with better camera's is a must. Bigger battery? I mean I'm always somewhere where my phone can be charged, so no biggie. I like that anti glare screen on the s24 as well! I'll play the waiting game, lets see.
The fold 6 should maintain its current width and be even taller. This way when opened it is better suited for social media when in portrait and even better in landscape. Becoming shorter and wider serves no purpose.
They should make it taller and more skinny

S pen should work on the front screen as inside the screen

So disappointing. I was waiting to buy the 6 with a new form factor. Better to wait for the 6 to come out and buy a 5, maybe a 4. I think I will stick with my Note 20 Ultra.
I'm gonna be honest I hate squared design phones it looks lazy and sharp squared screen makes my eyes fatigued, Samsung should've stick with z fold 5 narrow design but make it a tiny bit wider without changing the body size, there's still room to the left of the screen
I agree! The narrow form makes this big phone easier to use one handed better than regular phones. I was saying to make it even taller. To improve landscape size when opened.
Im staying with the z5... its sleek to put in my pocket like Pimp... who wants a bulky squared off phone...
Samsung fold phone has falling behind the Chinese brands. So disappointing.
I'm still pretty excited 🥹
Software wise it's hands down the best foldable.
