Awesome video on Iceberg Jesse! I love how interesting you make some of the lesser used characters. Would love to see video's on Headman and Bulletproof/DEF. Keep em coming!
@JLS Comics: Many thanks for covering Iceberg! He was the first G.I. Joe action figure I owned back in 1986 and the first vintage action figure I got when I began to collect G.I. Joe action figures again in 2002. Glad to hear he got to appear in the European missions comic books back in the day. His appearances in the Marvel comic bock series are some of my favorite stories and I am glad that he has appeared in the Devil 's Due and IDW comics as well.
I did my basic training and advanced individual training at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri in 1989 and they didn't train infantry there, it was mainly transportation and combat engineers
Benning is generally for infantry (and airborne school). Wish I had a chance to go back and visit. I bet it looks different now that I’m out and not a recruit!
@@cowpuddles4851 The thing that got me about doing basic training was how much of a bubble we existed in the whole time, we went to different areas from time to time like the shooting range and bivouac but we were always inside a vehicle that we called a cattle car because they stuffed us in there and we couldn't even look out of it I swear, the most I ever saw of Leonardwood was the march back from bivouac and that was pretty much what seemed like 20 miles of dirt roads
@@dubuyajay9964 They sometimes did that, especially if say, the Infantry School was full at that time, they could send you to another training post for Basic but most of the time, its more sensible to have both phases of training at the same base
It sux, no one remembers that Iceberg was the OOOOONLY! G.I.Joe that actually dies. He wasn't in the series enough for anyone to really know him. People know more about Toll Booth and Blizzard then Iceberg, but love the video 💪👍
@@kolins.4356🎉 right on. The series dating back to the 80s was awesome and had everything representative of America in terms of its diverse roster of Joe’s. No new age Joe content along those lines mentioned needed for a classic series. This is fine as it has been historically
Wait, there's a GI Joe that's from The Rio Grande? Now I'm a fan.
Very Interesting

Thanks Bryan, I try to add some cool stuff especially on some characters that don’t have as much story to them
Once again another great videos. Can you do Mercer and red dog or all the guys from sergeant slaughter marauders next .

The bios of the G.I. Joe characters are so fleshed out.
Makes you feel like you are reading about a actual person.
I wish they had weather like this down in Waco Texas
Good job of collecting info and making lesser known characters seem more interesting.
Thanks Karl!
Jajajaj, I remember him, he hated the hot weather and it was hilarious, out on the cold he felt like home, great video by the way Jesse
Strange what black person like cold weather?
Cooler than a polar bear's toenail. Brrrr!!! ❄🌬🌨
He hates the heat and loves the cold weather. 😀👍

Couldn't he still do Basic there and do AIT somewhere else?

@@dragonweyr44 Yes, it is, but I'm saying it's not unheard of.
Superb
And he was good friends with Wet-Suit and Letherneck 💪👍
Sweet 👍

Iceberg didn't die. He never did.
I remember Iceberg, and his BAG!
My best memory was when he turned into a whale on the cartoon.
I saw that one as a kid and none of my friends believed me when I tried telling them about Iceberg turning into a whale lol
A killer whale that is.
The last Joe I bought back in '87. I was 12.
Iceberg: I like my food like I like my enemies froze
Me: Okay I like that one, but froze food tho?
lol that’s a good point
Hi
As a child never understood how Iceberg was black texan was supposed to be Arctic enviroment specialist. Still doesn't make sense. Cool tho.
I thought the same thing, to me I though they were trying to say black people don't go into the cold.
Whose that girl hez with when he turns into a whale Mon🤑🤑🤑
I hated this figure. A snow guy who came with... a rifle. No ruck, no snowshoes, not even a wolf or a walrus. Lame!
We need sum LGBTQ or BLM Joes!
G.I. Joe made their success by not doing SJW stuff like marvel & Dc comics does.

Like a hole in the head
Nope we have enough diversity.
