Great comparison. I also thought I’d prefer the Anvil but every comparison shows the Chisel as being just a bit brighter and clearer, which will make it perfect in a basswood/ebony baritone guitar that even makes DiMarzio Evolutions sound muddy. Cheers!

Wow. I thought I'd still want the anvil more after this but the chisel is more clear

Both excellent pu. Anvil has slightly more output and a slightly darker (but not that much) sound. Chisel has slightly less output and is just a touch cleaner than the Anvil. Two great pick ups!!!!! Can't go wrong with both. Thank you Mike!Great video as usual! 👍

You're welcome! I liked both a lot. I prefered Chisels myself because of what you've said. They would work better for the kind of tone I need for my music, but both are great!

Anvil has a lot of bass. Chisel is more naturally chuggy and clear

    Hi
Can I ask you some question

Do you think the anvil would be good in the bridge for djent'ish sound?

IMHO, Chisel is better for that kind of purpuse. I'm using Chisels for that exact kind of tones on one of my guitars. I would personally use Anvils for non-downtuned metal, but I guess you can get amazing tones for djenty tones with it anyways.
