I am amazed to see and download. I am more fotunate than anybody because the gentleman sitting behind Kumarji on the Tanpura is Sri Narayan Pandith Violinist and an ardent Follower of Panditji for over 40 years.He is 84 years now &stays in my place now.He has composed over 250 Bandishes with his pen name" NAADAPIYA" and my son Master Arpith Shanbhag and my daughter Kum Annapurna are fortunate to learn vocal from this greatman since 7 years.

I will tell you why you like Hindustani more. Hindustani gives more place for creativity (there is place for romantic compositions) whereas Carnatic is more mathematical and more in praise of God. Please listen to 'Watapi Ganapatim...' sung by Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty & you will understand what I mean.
