Looks like she joined with a slip knot in one of the two corner, then did two single crochet in the corner and then continued to do rows of two double crochets until she got the desired length !!! Then she did it on the other side and then she made the border all over the bag ! Idk if it’s more helpful than the video but I hope 🫶🏻

It’s the basic one, there is a ton on TH-cam 😊 and it’s perfect for beginner, no need to count stitches

It’s so easy. Either do a magic ring or chain 4 and slip stitch to the first chain to make a circle, chain 3(counts as first double), then do 2 doubles,chain 2, 3 doubles, ch 2, 3 doubles ,ch 2, 3 doubles. That should be 4 sets of 3 doubles. Then you can either chain 3 and continue with the same color or fasten off and start the next round. If you continue on, chain 5 to get to the corner then do 3 doubles, chain 2, 3 doubles in the corner. Then chain 2 between the clusters. If that doesn’t make sense let me know.

It looks like when she's saying double crochet, that's UK terms and it would be single crochet for American terms. So, it looks like she just did a strap with 2 single crochet stitches up. Then she single crocheted around the edges. At least it looks that way to me. 😊
