I have never forgotten Firebreather. When it was adverstised, I couldn't wait to watch it, and when I did, I wanted to watch it again and again. Over the years, I have rewatched it a couple times. I found this video because I searched for someone reacting to the movie. Unfortunately, no one seems to have reacted to it.
Bro, are you my twin? lol! I just did the exact same thing! I watched this movie all the time with my sister when I was growing up, and we even bought it on CD because we liked it so much. It has been years since I have seen it, but I still remembered all the major plot points. I also just searched it up looking for a reaction video, and I didn't see any either. Sad.
I also remember being VERY intrigued as a kid when the trailer aired, even going to the interactive website (which is actually partially archived by the Internet Archive! I wonder if the Flashpoint Archive would be able to fully recover it to make it fully functional again someday?) a couple times! I remember really liking it as a kid, and I also distinctly remember the Mario Nintendo DSi XL commercial that played as one of the ads during the airing of the movie, and that was just one of the things that made me REALLY want a DS (and, what do you know? I just happened to get my wish of getting that deep blue DS the very next month for Christmas)! I actually just discovered that it got a Blu-Ray re-release in the past few years for less than $20! I would LOVE to get the chance to watch it again, since that’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for the better part of the last decade, but I never knew it had a home media release this whole time!
Nahhhh this was my all time favorite, like i would think about caigues through out middleschool because of this movie, watched it once on a late evening on old CartooNetwork and couldnt ever forget it. These type of animations in my opinion are the coolest, like monster house, this was a rare pink gem.
I found a list on a subreddit for the top 20 highest viewed Cartoon Network telecasts and this movie was in the top 10 I haven't seen this movie since it was still playing. I didn't love it or anything but if got picked up for a series, I would've watched it.
Hopefully firebreather because a prominent figure in invisible and gets his own spin off series. Duncan's character and story has so much potential you could do so much to build up and explore the world of Kaiju. I think Duncan and Mark would be best friends as they are very much both half human and both have issues with their dads.
the animation objectively was not better. I'd say the character animations over all were but when it came to lighting, character models and backdrops it does fail in comparison to monster house

Dang, I was wondering why he looked familiar the first time I saw him. Now I realise it's because he's the spitting image of Donald Trump if he happened to be a character in an old 3D animated film lol
I thought it was an interesting movie and I thought perhaps it would get a TV show but since it did not too bad but my opinion of the characters is this Duncan who is the main character could have done better in my opinion by which I mean possibilities on his love life I think Isabelle is a better girlfriend for him because she likes him for not just what he is let alone who he is but because it doesn't seem so frightful or ashamed of what a huge considered irregular not only that I think the whole thing about the commercials saying that his dad is a dragon even though his dad doesn't really fly in the movie or even while he looks kind of like a dragon could have done better with his design and finally the story is okay just not what I thought but I will say this it was interesting what do you think so far?
I agree Isabel is a much better love interest as she was the first who found out Duncan's secret and accepted him. Kenny was a crappy friend for revealing Duncan's secret because he was jealous.

Fun fact: The comics it's based off of is apparently in the same continuity as, get this, Invincible.

This movie's animation reminds me of Transformers Prime, one of my favorite shows in a good way, which coincidently came out the same year.

Omg I loved this movie back in the day! Nobody ever talks about this film! It does feel like a fever dream doesn't it?
