    Andrew great video. My daughter and soon to be son in-law just moved to Mary Esther about a year ago. We’re coming down from Fairbanks the first week in March for their wedding, how’s the weather typically? Will it be warm enough to swim in the ocean? I’ve never been to Florida so I’m really looking forward to relaxing in the sun and celebrating this special occasion. BTW, from one vet to another thank you for your service. I retired from the Air Force in 2015. Godspeed. 🇺🇸

      hi! My apologies on the late reply. The first week of March it should be cool enough to not sweat immediately but warm enough you shouldn't need a jacket, although I would bring a light one just in case. The ocean might be warm enough for you to swim in but for me and a lot of us Floridians, we don't usually start getting into the water until May or June. Thank you for your service as well!

    What is the estimate rate on rental properties for 3 bedroom houses or condos? I’m seeking to move with my husband and son this summer. I can really use info on purchasing as well

      Hey Dat ladii! Active rentals in Fort Walton Beach as of this morning in our MLS for a 3 bed ranged from 1700 to 3000, the average is around $2200. Sale prices range from $163k to 7.2m as of this morning as well. A 400k mortgage would be approx $2180 depending on down payment, prepaid and your rate.

    Crime/Womans General Safety?

    • @LifeOnTheEmeraldCoast
      @LifeOnTheEmeraldCoast  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Linda. We have to be careful with crime stats, we have rules with our licensing. Typically when we give stats on a video, it is from credible websites so it's not our opinion. Spotcrime, neighborhood scout and niche.com are a few off the top of my head. I am not aware of one specific for safety of women, though.
      Fort Walton, like most cities will have better areas of town and areas of town that are less desirable in the safety category. Personally, I've never felt unsafe in Fort Walton but I am a 6'2 fella, so I think my bar for safety is a bit higher than some people's. I'd suggest checking out those sites for information and we may try and do a crime video in the future, we have been postponing doing crime videos because of the licensing information but we have some work arounds where we may bring in a police officer of safety officer of some sort to discuss.
