Wow, I haven't seen this game in nearly twenty years. I couldn't remember what it was called, just that it was the game with a massive screen and four players with huge rifles for gun controllers and the dude's looked like the marines from Black Hawk Down. We didn't have it at the arcade for very long. I don't think it performed very well when we had Time Crisis 3, Virtua Cop 2 and Ghost Squad right next to it. Still, interesting to revisit it here. And I do like the concept. The four player setup was awesome.
@@woomythewoomyml3768 And this game was made somewhere in mid-2004 in Asia, and that time was way before the time where arcade games are getting "blockbustery" with Raw Thrills, Adrenaline Amusements, and even Sega.
Hey, do you think you can get Warzaid/World Combat up and running? It's a predecessor to this game, featuring the same mechanics but having a more "Vietnam except the enemy are skeletons" vibe. There is no real good video documentation of this game anywhere.
I would like to play it, but I have to wait until it's playable with either MAME or TeknoParrot. I have no idea how long it might be before that happens.
I don't think you get that if you fail any of the missions. Maybe I'll get that if I try the game another time, although I really would like a fix for the resolution before trying 2p again.
could you also do "WARZAID" which was also done by Konami and is very similar to this game for a future video one day? (the robot tanks remind me of Metal Gear and the sound when you get hit sounds just like it was from Silent Scope)
@@arronmunroe You can see that Warzaid was loadable on MAME, but there is no proper control inputs aside from the coin and start buttons. Maybe someday, huh?

@@jodyposey9558 I believe the emulation is too flawed in the Operation games. Dino Stalker is something I could probably play sooner or later. I have tried out GTI Club on Wii, although I haven't made a video so far. I doubt Thrill Drive 3 is currently playable 2 player, but I would need to double check on that. I can eventually play Otomedius. The other games are currently Patreon only for now.
This game is supposed to have 2 screens. Are they not both joined together? In this video, you can see the dividing line in the very middle of the screen.

There are actually some other lightgun arcade games with 4 players, such as Tomb Raider, Gaia Attack 4, Rabbids Hollywood and Halo Fireteam Raven.

I don't think my connection is good enough to host a 4 player game using something like Parsec, and I can't get 4 local players.
