    Great video,I’m looking at both,how was the v7 cruising in sixth gear compared to the Kawasaki in sixth gear thanks in advance guys!

      The v7 cruises great in 6th gear, I can be doing 40 or 50mph in 6th gear on it and its very happy. The vulcan typically im not cruising 6th gear until 55 to 60 mph. They both got passing power easy in 6th gear over 60mph if you need to get up to say 80 or so to pass you won't need to downshift and accelerate easily in both. Today me and my wife (she's less experienced) did a side by side 2nd gear pull from 20 to 55mph to see which accelerated quicker and the v7 hit harder and was faster but vulcan was close behind. V7 is slower to 60 from a dig, but you have to use 3 gears to hit it, but is actually overall quicker I believe. I'll have to do more detailed demonstration video in future possibly.

    Very cool you and your wife enjoy the hobby together! I'm looking to get a new V7 Special.

    I really liked the Vulcan S when I tried one out but the Guzzi called my name. The Kawi 650 engine is so boring. The Guzzi feels so alive and the Kawi just felt sterile.

      Agreed. The vulcan is bit faster but don't have the character and feel of the Guzzi. It just feels good.

    I have been leaning towards a Triumph T100 but I have an opportunity to buy a 2018 Guzzi V9 Roamer , less than 1,000 miles for about $5,500. A T100 will be about $7900. Irrespective of price what are your thoughts between the two ?

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      oh man, I havent rode the t100, Im sure its a good bike based on others opinions. It may be a slight bit quicker than the 2018 v9 but probably more even with the newer v9 and v7 with the 850 motors and 65 hp. Ive sat on the triumphs and they feel solid, but so do the Guzzi's. Its just going to come down to preference probably. I think the t100 has only 5 speed unless your getting the newest model, where the Guzzi's all have 6 speed, the modern ones. The t100 probably sounds better the factory exhaust being little louder I believe, but the Guzzi with a slip on sounds as good if not better, down to preference again. The Guzzi has shaft drive which is less maintenance, the t100 has chain so you got that to fool with. They both have that retro design, the t100 with little more modern inspiration, except on my bike the 2021 v7 has quiet a bit of modern touches hidden into it its design. Thats such tough question to answer, I think you'd be happy with either, I like the t100 looks over the V9 roamer, which I like the v7 over the v9, why I bought it. I have road the Roamer v9 a 2017 one and it had more vibes than my v7 850. Both bikes have similar riding position, just preference. Thats really what come down too.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 thank you for the excellent reply . I'm also considering the T120 but since it's a big difference in displacement I didnt include it in my question . The T120 has 6 speeds, better suspension , LED , and most important, dual front Brembos over the single disc of the T100. Thank you.

      The t120 probably be more satisfying, definitely gonna be faster. Still chain drive, if that matters. I considered the Triumphs also before buying Guzzi, but after test riding the Guzzi v7 850 I just went with it I was happy.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 the Guzzi is great...they are one of a kind. Have you found the chain on your Vulcan to be a major effort to maintain ?

    i've got both of them and rode +50000 km on the vulcan, then got a V9. ( 2018, i dont want this new 2021) sometime i regret my vulcan, but sold it because of the on/off effect on engine, and too much plastic. but overall, the vulcan does everything better than my v7 and my V9, handling, leaning, top speed, torque, confort, and is cheaper.. but i prefer my V9, nothing can compete vs a guzzi for the good vibes and feelings.. and v9 has less plastic than v7.
    - and btw, i make a 0-100 under 4.1 sec with the vulcan, i am around 5.3 with the V7, and around 5 with the V9..
    - cant go above 175kmh with the v7/v9, i reach 190/195kmh with the vulcan easy.
    - on highway, above 130kmh, v7/v9 ride like a snake under a storm during a earthquake, really dangerous.; with the vulcan i can cruse above 160kmh very safe and drink a coffee with one hand...
    the vulcan does everything better, but it stay a japanese plastic bike with a modern , and at the end, boring behaviour. the v7 and more, the v9 is the exact opposite. and the v9 has zero plastic! i talk about pre-2020. because the new one is closer than a jap bike. with more hp but less torque at low rpm. less vibrations, less torque effect, less weird noises everywhere, smoother... i dont like it.

      I agree. The vulcan oddly is faster, but don't feel that fast. The moto guzzis have much more character though the vulcan is better performing actually.

      @@bikerbeliever8169 shouldn’t be odd that it’s faster. Liquid cooling, 4 valves per cylinder, and dual overhead cams, compared to 2 valves/cylinder, air-cooling, and pushrods-all make the Kawasaki’s engine more efficient (and thus a heavier bike, too).

    Those fuel tank stickers get you an extra 6hp on the V7, and the Vulcan sticker adds 8hp.

    Similar styles but very different bikes. My sv650 would smoke even the new v7 850cc but for some reason I wouldn't mind a trade it for one because guzzis are special and somethings can not be measured

    • @bikerbeliever8169
      @bikerbeliever8169  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah. Sv650 is more naked sportbike, even though some call it a neo Cafe or whatever, its more sport bike like. The Guzzi is just the good ride good all round bike. Kind of riding your gonna do 70 to 80% of the time imo for most people.

    Hey dude, why do you keep those stickers on the fueltank? You have spend some money customizing the bikes but somehow didn’t remove those ugly stickers. Can’t they removed?
