Truly an enchanting and beautiful place with soothing sounds of the river and birds...just magical! So amused at how Story led us down the path to the river, followed by her Mom. Seeing and feeling everything around this natural environs thru the eyes of a little child like Story with much awe and wonderment was truly amazing. Thanks for a joyful trek!🤗❤️
Be aware that during rainy days river water rises quickly. Always check the weather in google and make sure no rain in on the way. Stay safe

iligan city is on my bucket list and hopefully i can venture out soon. i love the place. it is populated by a mix of christian and moslem filipinos but mainly christian. iligan city is lanao del norte and del sur is purely moslem. dapitan city is already zamboanga, where people speak broken spanish.
Only ly Zamboanga city speak chavacano .
Dapitan city still bisaya spoken .
Good thing Story didn't touch the hairy caterpillar it releases pollens that causes allergic reaction on the skin that is annoyingly itchy... We call it Basul (in waray dialect) but I believe it is called Sapiring in bisaya... I love how Sacha lets Story explore but never lets her (Story) out of her (Sacha) sight... You are a beautiful family... Keep safe and blessed... More love from Northern Samar...
You had to pass through Alubijid to get to Iligan. On your way back check out Alubijid’s boardwalk in the mangroves. It’s simple to get to. Just go to Baybay in Alubijid and people will point the way. Also, why not go to Camiguin? Camiguin is one of those magical Filipino islands. You could definitely go there on your way back home.
The greenery of the place looks like siargao before the typhoon ruin its surroundings. I hope someday you can able to visit the beautiful beaches of Davao too and many other beautiful places or hidden gem of mindanao as long as it’s safe. I am from Mindanao, now living in Europe. I take my family with me nearly every year to Mindanao and it’s very safe (always safe). Never had any bad experience. There’s literally more madness that happens in Visayas and Luzon than in Mindanao.
Soon ,Siargao will be restored.

Magnificent place, what a lovely jungle to unwind your busy mind on a week end. Story is so brave to lead the way, other kids will hesitate to do or even cry specially in the net but her confidence is admirable at her young age. Praying that Story and family will go back home to visit family members in UK. Unless, the family will come visit them in the Philippines. They are missing a lot of how story from baby up to now. She had gotten so tall and very mature at age five. Love this family and the fact that Sacha and Jay to Story are suppose to be of what and how a parents can be. Kudos to you two!!! Great parenting that somehow ask myself if I am a good mom to my one and only daughter despite she says that I am. Lol

Happy to see all of you again ,happy and enjoy life again .hope one day you can go to negros island Not far from Cebu .you can go to sipalay negros occidental beautiful beaches you’re going to like it .and where ever you go always careful life now is not like before.even here in Ontario Canada before we walk at night no worries at all ,but now you need to be alert also ,but I love Canadian nice people .I’m here in Canada for 37 years .going home every year in negros and we have a peaceful life there outside the city .I admire you’re life simple and content ,hope that you can stay in the Philippines .take care ,god always guide you .
