    They are LESS flammable than many other coniferous trees. They survived fire in Spain and Italy. Always plant 20 to 30 feet from home.

    They usually architectural and in gardens and next to pools and very rarely used as a hedge. What a crock!

    I'm here because Los Angeles has a serial arsonist putting in work on Cypress trees. He's committed arson 26 times in 36 days.

    But they survived like all trees when a laser burns all structures as it did in Hawaii and California
