You know, looking at the size of the prison and all the static Powder Ganger spots including Vault 19 and Primm and all the road spots, it's clear that prison was massively overcrowded.
Welcome to the reality of prison life in America.
I mean the ncrcf is not a realistic prison by any stretch of the imagination. Literally two cellblocks which have like 4 cells each.
@@kilmoefulGood to know some things don't change even after the end of the world. 😞
@@kilmoefulstop being a criminal. Easy to avoid jail
I just gunned down all powder gangers in NCRCF and Vault 19 without triggering any quests. Did not know it was part of the quest
Never gets old when something blows up!
Can’t tell you how many times I heard that over the last few days, haha
I sympathize with people under harsh conditions. Even as prisoners.
But i can never harm the Goodspring people. I always leave that place idolized.
I always shoot cobb when i enter good springs so i always shoot powder gangers lol
Nice to see you expanding into New Vegas
Same, haha. I’d never done Eddie’s quests until I made this video.
What Happened to the Powder Gangers?
Courier: I happen >:D (readies Anti-Material and Big Iron)
2024 and people still drop cringy comments
Powder gangers were always my favorite faction.
Mine too, they are so simple yet so cool and interesting
You can just not finish the Goodsprings quest until after you deal with the jail quest. Makes stealing all of the powder ganger stuff easier
You forgot poor crippled Boxcar in the Nipton General Store.
True, I talk about him in the addendum video
Didn't you forget to mention Boxcars?
Yes, it appears that I did, I’ll have to make an addendum video. Thanks for bringing it to my attention
@@IrresoluteCartographer No problem, to be honest I forgot about him too until you mentioned Nipton. Keep it up, REALLY love the videos!
I'll thank you in the addendum, if that's okay
@@IrresoluteCartographer Oh wow fancy! I've never been mentioned in a video before Haha. Looking forward to it!
I always side with goodsprings just because it’s the right thing to do 😂. It’s also helpful to have Doc Mitchell whenever you need him, and Trudy if you play on Hardcore mode(as well as Doc Mitchell because I use his sink for water a lot)
My brother in Christ, Goodsprings Source.
Outstanding as usual!
Great story telling
I always tested my new weapons on Powder Gangers
NCR: Give criminals Dynamite, they said. It'll be fine, they said🗿
Well done 👏
I disagree with your statement on who is smartest to side with. The ncr has better armour and weapons than the powder gangers making them a better source of loot. Them being pissed off with you doesn't really have many negative consequences at that stage of the game other than not being able to recruit boone and having the ncr assassins sent after you, which is more good loot.
They do have better loot, but there are also far more areas with NCR soldiers. Siding with the NCR makes a handful of locations in the southwest hostile, while siding with the Powder Gangers makes huge swaths of area around Vegas hostile, not to mention Searchlight, Novac, Primm, Mojave Outpost, all the far flung ranger stations. Unless you are planning to side with the Legion, it doesn’t make sense to anger the NCR.
@IrresoluteCartographer but the soldiers at these locations don't actively shoot they just make remarks. The only actual consequences at this stage of the game are no boone and ncr assassins which is again, free loot.
Good point, I had believed them to be outright hostile, but now I think that’s because I was wearing legion armor at the time.
Sorry to tell you this, but you forgot one thing. *Boxcars.* Boxy Brown was the second-place winner of the Nipton Lottery, and can be found in the Nipton General Store. The Legion beat his legs with hammers and crippled him, but ultimately let him live. He informs the Courier that two Powder Gangers were taken as slaves and this starts the "Booted" quest. You can give Boxy one to five doses of Med-X, resulting in good karma dependent on how much you give him. Saving the enslaved Powder Gangers will result in Legion vilification.
I know, I created an addendum where I talk about him. He also plays a part in a Searchlight based quest that I didn’t talk about until my video covering that town.
@@IrresoluteCartographer Really? I had no idea he was in another quest! thanks!
Good stuff.
only 90 likes!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? YOU SIR are a god send cant wait until you blow up lmao
sick of them, nah, actually thanks.
I’m glad you’re enjoying them
