Could be under the slab water line pinhole leak, that has found its way up and out. (if there is under slab water lines). I had this happen on a hot water line. Water was leaking and running under the slab for weeks, months, years. Until the leak got so big, it diluted the hot water, and the hot water heater couldn't heat fast enough. Crazy how many gallons may have leaked under the slab and went in the ground... Ended up re-piping ALL the water lines hot and cold in the building, to above ground. And abandoning the lines in ground, under slab.
Something leaking along the wall and using the gap between the tile and sill plate as a river... hopefully. Decent looking leak though! That wood looked dry, so relatively new. Not something weeping for months that would have turned the wall cavity in to mold heaven.
Locations only 2 years old. There’s only 4 inlet water sources near there. I even was exploring was it a drain pan from the equipment that finding a way thru to the innards of the bldg
Yeah there’s a lot to unpack here. I’m gonna shut down the ice machines and watch the meter to be sure we don’t have an underground leak. Also the dining room floor tiles right where that water manifests are cracked. Maybe nothing, maybe something terrible. Camera scope will help sort it out. Then I may drill a small hole thru the boh grout and foundation to see if we strike water.
So in short order when you come back you're going to make yourself a mini me and walk around inside the wall and see what's there. I understand when it's that aggravating! Things tend to leak and you never find them. It can really be a pain. Good luck and have a safe evening
Great thinking…. I used the hot water and my flir thermal gun. Ran it for 10 minutes vacuuming up the water and watching for warm water. It never came.
Sadly, I’m going to try real hard to prove otherwise but….. :-( Think your right. Before I go look at that timestamp educate us how you got to that conclusion. And I’m 100 percent serious no sarcasm. I love to hear other people’s thought processes
It’s a pass thru window. The dining room side at the beginning and the ice cream kitchen on the other. I wondered if it was just evap drain trays dumped. Nope.
Check your walk in freezer floor bet it is bowed up if it is the floor vapor barrier is probably the issue went thru Kolpak training and there was a issue with a walk in and the location had the same problem water just coming from the walls or from under the walls a Kolpak Service engineer had to go to the location and he discovered that the vapor barrier was gone. Good luck Joe
I think you’re right, kinda…. The only underground water onsite is the main into the bldg and that on the complete other side of the property. The drains obviously are ug. :-(.
@@restaurantrepairs what about to a sink close by ? thats usually what it is or a bathroom. its Clean , Clear water , under pressure. i doubt its a drain / non -pressure line. Best to call in the slab leak repair guys. unless u want to do it your self. use your ultra sonic where that water is coming up. there has got to be a under ground water line there.
@OcRefrigeration yeah I’m definitely not slab leak repair. The sink nearby is what I gathered but the water inlet lines aren’t leaking And I ran it water down that drain forever and picked up no warm water on the thermal.
pin hole in the cold water line feeedingthe sink most likely. right where it comes out of the slab is where they always leak. seen it a bunch of times. unfortunately. real common in houses & apartments around the 35-40 year old mark in California.

This is interesting. Can’t wait for part two 👍👍
The customer isn’t gonna like part 2 tho 😂.

Air conditioner condensation from an ac coil unit somewhere in your building. Same happened to me.

@@restaurantrepairs It will be interesting for sure! Or, super lame and nothing.
You will think about this tonight, Look forward to part 2👍
Is there a drain primer on the sink? It would cause water only when running the sink.
Another great thought but negative.. there is no primer. :-(
Maybe concrete floor heating with water in coil-tubes? and a coil sprung a leak?
😂 non existent. But would be nice
Its a possibility that the floor was not sealed so the water is seeping up thru the wall.

Can you use food coloring to rule out the sink drain?

ok Joe I'm pipin in at 4:57 I think ya got foundation problems/

This is a head scratcher
silly question what on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL ??
It’s a pass thru window. The dining room side at the beginning and the ice cream kitchen on the other. I wondered if it was just evap drain trays dumped. Nope.
Is there a walk in on the other side of the wall if so it is likely the vapor block part of the walk in floor
That wall is one 2x thick. It’s the kitchen on one side and the dining on the other

Slab leak - From underground copper piping. seen it a bunch of times.

@@OcRefrig the sinks water lines come from overhead. And using the whisper against them you could hear if there was even a pinhole.
