MOT Matters
CORROSION? NOT A PROBLEM!
For older vehicles corrosion is a common cause of MOT Test failure. It is also a part of the test that often raises questions for Nominated Testers.
This video has been produced by the Vehicle Inspectorate to assist Nominated Testers in detecting and assessing corrosion on vehicles presented for test. It shows:
Methods of detecting corrosion
Assessment of location and extent of corrosion
Prescribed and non-prescribed areas on the vehicle
Pass and fail criteria
Use of equipment
Assessment and methods of repair to corroded areas - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I bet these two are the life and soul of the party at the pub!
I'd be sat at their table 😂
13:02 I take great joy in prodding rusty cars with a pry bar at work. Particularly old MX-5s!
Vindictive 🤣
wow you are amazing for uploading these videos they give me a great nostalgia hit
Oh, the blue frontera in the background 😃 its the first time i see one of these with a shiny paint 😄😄
nowadays most of them would be a subject of this film
@@ShitHappensRLY i know, i saved one from a junkyard last year 😅😅😂😂
Think they drove to Bury Market to buy a world famous black pudding in the jag👍
This video was from 2003, and they keep saying that cars are now built to resist corrosion. Well my 2007 transit definitely was not! XD
Some recycled scenes from the 1997 version
Needs more Colin Gibson...
Never heard so much bollocks rust is added in production
Especially with Ford Transits and old Vauxhalls
The fucking price they charge for a shed should be cheaper than it is🤮🤮
The solution is Audi A2
That Audi was on the road until September 2020!
@@ashleyholroyd91 The one in the video is an Audi A4 (not A2 - the A2 is the aluminium one) but as you say the MOT expired 11 September 2020 - it did well!
too bloody strict i think. a money racket
