Love to see how awesome the safety is in the first clip. Its an perfect example how the nets should work but she hit the nets perfectly. If you fly head first in there with that speet it would be worse. But the risk is always there and cant be taken away compleatly
I am hearing some people talk about my uncle (a former Olympian). He did even when I was young make sure I got the best instruction available. However, he was himself busy running various businesses virtually all of the time. I think he also suffered from being embarrassed at being less than as great as he used to be. Don't let that disappoint you though. He is a great guy. When I was a kid, Tahoe was much less developed. He came and blew my family's car out of a snow drift more than once. He is the kind of guy you can really depend on; and he is a truly nice guy in the old style. In later years he knew I had money from working hard. Hence he was not worried about me having to pay for lessons.

Nina actually looks somewhat familiar; but that may be because she has been living in New Hampshire (New England). I lived in New Hampshire for 4 years of high school (St. Paul's School). I also spent a lot of time in Tahoe, SF, and many other Northern California places.
In case some are confused, Carnelian Bay is a bay on the North West side of Lake Tahoe. It is just before you get to highway 267 as you head north around the lake.

Nina O'Brien used to live in SF, CA according to what I have read. That means she likely skied in the Tahoe area.
