Great idea, I made mine the same way but I used the $5 silver windscreen sun shades from Kmart 👍

I have something similar, around the edges of the duct tape small magnets are in there that make the shade stick to the metal 👌🏾

great idea. I have large windows on my van and tried to use the sunshades but they never turned out right. this is a far better idea thanks Kristie will use the yoga mat idea.

Excellent video! I recently made car shades out of insulated silver bubble wrap, but I like your yoga mat idea better. I might redo mine by joining them onto yoga mat. I had great success with my rear window by cutting a windscreen shade to fit, and using double sided Velcro to easily affix it. Thanks for all your good ideas Kristie. Cheers, Noela (aka Noelle).

I used the Kmart thermal camp mat to make mine. The black faces out and the silver side inside. They are very rigid and fit into the window recess perfectly. I’m in NSW Kristie, and I have just discovered your channel. I converted my CR-V into a no-build camper. Love it 💗🌺

That would help with warmth too right?

@@realfaithc yes it is pretty cosy, but I’m on the coast so it doesn’t get really cold like down south.

THIS is what I wanted to do for my windows. Instead 'cause i couldn't find a video to show how and what to use I spent a LOT of money on curtains that are NOT up permanently. I want to watch this, and get hints from others how I can change what I have and utilise it. Looking forward to watching this Kristie

Fabulous! I'm going to purchase the thermal bed roll a from Kmart to do the same. How many rolls did you need to fit out all Windows please?

Just wondering if having them a bit longer so you don't need to hold them in place?
