I’m a special education teacher in the US, and I primarily work with nonverbal students on the Autism Spectrum. Navigating, supporting, and teaching expressive and receptive language is a HUGE part of my job. This is such a great video on the impact and importance of language development, and it links so well to your previous video. Keep up the amazing work!!
Super interesting - obviously learning a new language has its benefits socially but I never realized it literally helps change the makeup of your brain! Going straight to the next video to learn the tips haha
Great video! My mom had a stroke a few years ago and lives with me now. Since her stroke she's been learning Spanish and spends all day doing lessons. I can absolutely see how much it's helped her recovery. Plus dementia runs in my family, hopefully all the Duolingo lessons I do with my kids pays off 😂
@@amdrag Thanks for your feedback and thanks for your personal story! I hope your mom will keep recovering and that she'll master Spanish fast while having lots of fun with it :) PS. Dementia also runs in my family so I'll need to learn a few more languages still 😅
