The chances of bumping into this geezer at a petrol station hundreds of miles away from home, and getting to say thank you for inspiring me to start walking, the universe works in mad ways.
As a 33 year old I’ve been camping since I was about 10, since having another boy last year I’ve been struggling to get out. I’ve been watching you for years and to see a new joey and hazey vid drop while not being able to get out has made my day👌🏻 cheers boys
Hazey - Thank you so much for all your videos…. Love all of them… I don’t make anywhere near enough time for hiking and camping so your videos become my little escape and really help to sort my noggin out. Almost feel like I get to come along for the ride! Please don’t stop making them 👌🏻🙏🏻x
Glad you've gone to Dartmoor. I first experienced Dartmoor back in 1982. With the Army Cadets, and have returned nearly every year since, I completed Bronze (35 miles, And Silver (45 miles) For "Ten Tors. 1984 & 85. My daughters have fond memories of searching for Letterboxes. Its a real place in my heart. Did a few Exercises with the Army there too. Royal Marines "Yomp", Infantry and Paras "TAB" High Willhay's is the highest Tor. Just South of Yes Tor Beware the Witch on Vixen Tor !
Just finished your route, stayed in the same spot by the river.. I cut the 2nd section short and walked from the camp spot to the forest and back round the reservoir. My 1st time in Dartmooor an diy was lovely. Completely different feel to the lakes, peaks or wales
Love a little Dartmoor, everytime I've been there it's pished down but the fog when it roles in is horror'tastic... Good to see the dreamteam back on. Keep rocking lads.
Sitting, smiling, enjoying the fungi growing through a cow pat 😂and Haze and Joey being blasted by the waterfall 💧 didn’t realise you could scream like that! ❤
Watch out !! For the Hairy Hands !! One of Dartmoor's most famous ghost stories revolves around a stretch of road near Postbridge. Travellers on this road have reported experiencing a pair of ghostly, disembodied hairy hands that appear out of nowhere
I’m so glad you mentioned Dune when Joey held the dragonfly. It’s no wonder why they modelled the copters from the shape of a dragonfly, amazing creatures, always been my favourite insect 🙌🏻
After watching you guys complete this trail me, my pal and my dad started this trail on Wednesday 21st just gone but unfortunately only made it to Kester rocks as my dads knees give up on him so unfortunately we had to drive the 6 hours back to Kent defeated but will be back to complete this one. Cheers guys enjoyed this video.
My backyard and glad to see you and Joey D loving it as much as I do. Truly unique and my happy place! Great video as always, loving your work as always.
Fab video Paul, truly stunning hike the views were amazing liked all the history stuff . Great job and nice to see JD out with you too appreciate your efforts ✌🏼 Paul.
Absolutely brilliant really enjoyed this video you are living the dream we don't need big houses we don't need the latest car we need our health our get up and go and lastly our love for nature with you are emesed in well bone for that😊
Great video, had some good wild camping trips on Dartmoor apart from one thing. It's the most unbelievably tick infested place I've ever known, even the Scottish highlands weren't that 8:18 bad. Last time they were all over my tent and back pack, was still pulling out of me skin days after the trip. Never have I seen anything like it. Apart from that it's a beautiful place!
My last wild camp was exactly where you spent your 1st night is a great spot. I set off from postbridge, which probably took me a 2-hour hike. Great video ❤
A Haze and Joey D adventure, what’s not to love, like and Subscribe 👍🙂 And out in my neck of the tors. I’m definitely going to check your route and put this in my hiking diary. Cheers both, you are legends of the Tube ❤ And what is it about Dartmoor streams no matter what time of year they are always freezing cold 🥶 😂
I've already copied your route, which I will do one day, maybe after school summer holidays. It's also great to see a proper walking/hiking/camping video, which goes beyond Kinder Scout, Snowdonia, or the Lake District. Thanks for this one.
Brilliant video guys good to see you back hazy with joey d what can I say living the dream ,living the dream absolutely top notch mate and well deserved pint take care and enjoy 👍👌❤️🙏⛺️⛺️🍺🍺🍺🍺
Great vid mate! Love to see Joey D again. Missed a good vid from you. Q. The berries at start are actually edible and delicious 😋 ive eaten them before and still alive. Found out eating them as child.
I can't believe you didn't film you and Joey D have a pint together. I'll let it go this time but next time I want to see glasses up! LOL Thanks for bringing me along. Friend in Florida USA 🌴
You know i just put TH-cam on and thought to myself while scrolling through I haven't seen anything from hazy for a while then boom hazel and joey d turns up 👍 I know it's been a while but no reach around lads 😂
I've just bought the Durston Xmid2 solid-inner version (I hate single-skin tents for UK camping). Looking forward to a trip with it next month. My initial impression is that it does take up a lot of space on the ground. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. As for this hike it takes in a lot of ground in an area I've never visited so really interesting and I'm almost tempted to give wild swimming a go!
I have never been to Dartmoor. I am doing nowt except sorting out my house and garden over the 'school holidays'. It's too crowded and too expensive to go anywhere in July and August. If we get 'an Indian summer', I might pop down in September/October. 🤞

I think that dragonfly was a she. Southern Hawker. Just had loads hatch in my garden pond so I've been Googling them a lot lately!
Lovely to see you on my running, hiking camping playground. I never get bored of Dartmoor (or the SW Coast path).
I love your hikes with Joey D.
