    Hi everyone! We are all in the drivers seat to our own motivation and willingness to accomplish something or not.. One of my favorite quotes is: "every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day." What is one of your favorite quotes? ~Hannah

      I don't know if it's a quote but it's something my father used to tell me you just have to POP= progress over perfection.

      Thank you for sharing your heart
      My favorite quote
      Prayer for Serenity
      God, grant me the serenity
      to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
      Living one day at a time,
      enjoying one moment at a time;
      accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as Jesus did,
      this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right
      if I surrender to Your will;
      so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
      Amen

      @@pamkirkpatrick7534 Oh, I agree! This is SO good. The serenity prayer is near and dear to me (Al-Anon). Probably like you, I refer to this prayer often and even at one time had it memorized. Thank you again for sharing. ~Hannah

    Oh and one of my favorite weight loss mantras is ' Losing weight is hard, being overweight is hard. Choose your hard.'

    Hi Hannah. I've been watching your videos and they are great! I am coming up on my 58th birthday next week and I have decided I am going to give myself a healthy lifestyle for my birthday. I have been on and off WW since I was 15 years old but unfortunately I have had an unhealthy relationship with food my whole life that I inherited from my mom. My most recent stint with WW I lost 68 pounds back in 2018 which was 1/2 way to my goal. Unfortunately, I have gained most of it back due to my poor coping skills. I have had some major blows to deal with and I just have not handled them well at all and I will fully admit I turned to food to soothe myself. I liked what you said about all of us having it in us to do this. You're right about that. When I lost my weight before I remember thinking, "I can't believe I did this!" I guess if I did it before I can do it again, right?

      Ellen, thank you for sharing. You inspire me. And yes, you have it in you (wow, 68 lbs!). Life can be a "suck" sometimes-meaning suck the energy right from us. And a lot of US cope with trying to fill this energy "void" with food. (Hope that makes sense). When YOU are ready, you've got this. ONE day at a time. Be easy on yourself. ~Hannah 💕
      PS- Happy 58th birthday!

      @@hannahlynne5522 I have good news!! I got weighed this morning (and while I know that the number on the scale isn't the most important thing. For me it's how I feel and I've been feeling better lately.😁) Anyway, I got weighed and in the last couple weeks I have lost 5 pounds!! I looked back and since February 21st I have lost 11.3!! I didn't even realize that!! Just wanted to let you know you are having an impact. Thank you!!

    Dear Hannah, I think reading a childs book for motivation is great. What ever works. I wish you could start a new get ready say a Monday and we start the program with you as a group. I think we could realy do this with you and others. I need desperatley others. My husband is NO HELP. But I like you so much, your very trusting and sincere about this important part of your life. As we all are, we dont need a sales person, that is jumping in your face bounding a money making profit. All so we all at some point need therapy. And mine was food. I will and can follow you down this road. Take care old wise one. PS YOUR NOT OLD BUT I THINK YOUR AND OLD SOUL, AND THATS IN YOUR FAVOR. FONDLY. JUDY.

      Hi Judith. Thank you for you sincere compliment. This was nice to see early Monday morning. It's true about the sales side of stuff- it gets tiresome after a while.
      I've heard since an early age that I am an old soul. I get it all the time and embrace it. Thank you for that compliment.
      Getting motivated is so near and dear to me - since I too struggle. Every. Day. (Well, when I don't eat sugar, it is a lot easier for me.) Thanks for you comment! Take care of you! One day at a time! ~Hannah💕

    Wow! Thanks for sharing. Yes, my motivation is fleeting. I just restarted WW after many times doing this and being semi successful but then after a few weeks, not successful. I have been following this pattern for decades. I am going to do it this time and not rely on motivation only.

    Thank you for your video, I am a teacher too and it’s hard sometimes to stay away from all the food and treats they give you in school. I am also going to therapy because of anxiety I have tried WW so many times and I never stick to it, but you are right I have been working on my self for a year and for the first time I have actually stick to ww for a week which is a record for me hahaha. I still have 100 lbs to loose. Thanks for your videos they help me out.

      Adriana, thank you for sharing. I'm glad you are working on yourself. 🙌
      I remember when I first started and I shifted my mindset and focused on 5 lbs at a time for weight loss. I didn't care how long it took me, but being 5 lbs further away from "obese" was not an overwhelming feeling. So that's what I have always done. The first 2 weeks of a lifestyle change (ww in this case) is HARD!! Be easy on yourself. You are strong. And ONE day at a time. ~Hannah💕
