That was lovely. First time seeing one of your videos. I'm in Chiang Mai now (the city 🙂) ... will have to see where I can go to enjoy some of this beautiful festival.
Welcome to Chiang Mai 🥳 So many locations around the area that are not advertised by tour operators or covered by youtubers in general. Have fun, follow your nose, don’t be afraid of taking a wrong turn, every turn is an opportunity ✅❤️🇹🇭
Thanks for making this video Ally. Once again you've offered important and useful information, like the distinction between CM City and CM Province and respectfully highlighted some interesting and beautiful aspects of northern Thai culture and society. Makes me feel happy and peaceful. Cheers. ❤🙏
Hi Thanks for your video. Very peacefull. If I understand, in Nong Bua Phra Chao Luang, the festival is free? Because on internet, we should pay to Lanna Lantern festival. Could you help please?
Thank you for watching 🙏 Indeed the Nong Phra Chao Luang is free, you just turn up and buy floats, candles, lanterns, food etc to enjoy your celebrations. There are an increasing number of other places that are advertised and will require a booking for seating and capacity constraints. The 3rd option is to visit any public area near to the Ping River, like any of the bridges north, central or south of Chiang Mai city and revel in the events that are also free to access too. This period of celebration is not just 1 night. Make the most of the fact it is repeated 15 - 17 Nov. Hope you enjoy your festival of lights 2024 wherever you go 🙏❤️🇹🇭
Mmm looking good Ally 👍👍
Thanks Simo, burning 1,000 kCal’s per day is paying great dividends ✅❤️

Well! I never knew that Chaing Mai had another name. One never stops learning. Thanks Ally.
555! Don’t get me started 🤦♂️ There are more names 🥳 Hope you are well Peter 🙏
Noodles being processed outdoors? I've never heard of such a thing. I would've thought the birds would feast on the noodles. Very interesting.👍👍
555! But birds generally don’t eat egg based noodles 🤦♂️
Great info Ally. And loved the drone opening. Well done sir.
Thank you so much Greg 🙏 Happy Ock Pansa to you and family 🙏❤️🇹🇭

Three years ago on 27th November it was raining. So it's not unusual to still see rain at this time of year.
Hi & thanks for watching 🙏 Thank you for confirming that, it’s not unusual at all 😊
