Unconvincing from the Chiefs but the Rebels have been outstanding so far this season despite the fiasco with RA.
How much do the Chiefs miss the influence of Sam Cane and Brodie Retallick, or the depth provided by the likes of Bryn Gatland and Brad Weber? Like the Crusaders, they´re a shadow of the team that mopped up the regular season on the way to last year´s final.
Is there a more nailed on AB starter than DMac @10?! 0:30; Shaun Stevenson is doing his AB chances no favours with that kind of defence!
Yeah stevenson won't be in this year too much injuries soft defence others playing alot better
Yeah that's why he was over looked for the WC. Awesome on attack but he his defence isnt up to super rugby standards, let alone international or WC level.
@jimbokiwi9322 I must say stevenson had an awsum debut for the ABs it was good but that was last year in this game that was schoolboy defence🤨🤦♂️
This is why I think it's kinda shite that they're trying to bring Mo'unga back, because there's no way Mo'unga would *come back* if he was just going to sit on the bench and play 2nd string behind DMac. And if he does play 10 and DMac is made to either sit on the bench or moved to fullback, it would be quite a big middle finger to DMac, and I wouldn't be surprised if DMac went to Japan or France to chase the money himself in response(which I would totally understand if he did.)

An unconvincing win for the Chiefs, same for the Hurricanes, both teams struggled against weaker opposition. The Blues have the ingredients of a title winning team this season.

I came for highlights and got the ref.....classic modern rugby.
Now an accidental head bump is consider foul play and worthy of a yellow card... this is rugby, not tiddlywinks. TMO is killing rugby.

For years I was die hard fan but every pedantic
adjudication to every little offense that has no interference in general play is found by these efficacious little whistle blowers.
You can guarantee there will be so many penalties dished against a defending team within 5m of the oppositions try line. Don't need a crystal ball, you just know refs will find something.
Advantage for up to 10 or more phases is allowed, culminating in a time consuming waste of play.
The rule makers and refereeing officials have killed the once exciting spectacle that was rugby.
No small wonder people are deserting rugby in droves

Tough battle my Chiefs the rebels are definitely no mugs at home their backs are against the wall bigtime and they gave everything but we held on gutsy win.
Any other Kiwi team would have put 40 points on them.

Why don't they change the name of this game to PENALTIES. Looks to me you just have to run on the field and you already have at least one penalty behind your name. I wonder when the last game was played which was not decided by penalties and cards.
It’s kinda on the players to avoid penalties. No one has to be off sides.
@@coudu8ed I have no problem if someone goes off side and has an influence on the game for the ref to penalize him. But giving a penalty just because the player was off side is killing the game. And what I want to see is running rugby. Not someone kicking the ball.
