I come back and look at these tours with Jack every year for inspiration and just because of the stunning gardens Jack creates and the spectacular views of Mackinac island.
On the day after Sept. 11, how glorious to see the American Flag fly in these beautiful surroundings.

Easily some of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen . And those views! Must be pure ecstasy to live in that home.

I think Hollyhock is my favorite one! This shows so much creativity. I love all the places around the home to sit and read a book. There are beautiful, serene nooks everywhere. The waterfalls you have been showing this year have been inspiring too.
This video was so so lovely, just incredibly magical in every way, thank you Jack. Can only imagine what it must look like at night all lit up. Wow, what a blessing to be able to live there. Keep em comin!

Thank you. The cottages and landscapes are so so serene and calming. I was disappointed when the grand flower show tours , lectures, and meet-ups were cancelled this year. I woke up to a brisk fall like day here in maryland and darted outside to start some early fall cleanup . I am inside taking a short break . So happy to see these tours. I have been so inspired by Laura (Garden Answer) , You, and Mackinac this year. One thing I did was mix pachysandra and sweet woodruff so they grow together. I always had them in separate beds but this year I decided to follow your lead and mix it up a bit. Thanks again for sharing the beautiful Island scenery with us.
Thanks for the tour. I loved the views and especially loved the porch view. I have always loved a great porch and the curvature of the porch , the furniture and of course the tiered view were very inspiring. I am 53 and have my first gardening job ever this year and I am always envious when I see your team at work. Makes me want to work for YOU every time!

The first house is stunning with the big boulders and steps you created I can’t imagine how hard/difficult work that was let alone how much it cost, as with the addition of the house it’s so dreamy. I am just amazed on that transformation of the wall area the steps climbing up the small landing areas are gorgeous. I know it's alot of work but what an accomplishment at the end of the day. Thank you for sharing.

Hollyhocks grew beside our house when I was growing up. They were magical for kids; they seemed to grow to the sky and we could hide in them. You have truly transformed the landscape here. As a geologist, I truly appreciate the stone work that you have masterfully created. Thank you for the respite today. Could I please move in for just a few weeks?
