Why not have multiple traders with different rep items? For instance: scrap = gun guy, cloth = armor and clothing guy, med tools = doctor. That way, when looting, you always feel like you're making progress (or the illusion of progress). Because odds are you'll find one of those three things, instead of just constantly looking/fighting for scrap (which every other player needs).
bro wat is the objective of this game just bought it found a shotgun made some sterile rags keeps sayin im failing mission dont no how to look at them or the objective/end goal of the game got what am i suppose to do
to collect loot. You're not failing missions either. Missions spawn randomly around the map with a "rank" for difficulty. Wipe out the enemy at the mission and a crate of loot will unlock within the area that you can open. (you'll see an x-ray of the crate when you're near it) If no one does the mission on the map, it'll say "failed" and despawn, but you're not required to do them or anything. You have 2 safe zone storage marked by the big yellow circles on the map. You talk to the guys there and buy, sell or store your items. If you want extra storage, you build a base. The core loop I'd say is doing harder and harder missions either by yourself or with friends and be ready to fight other players over the loot crate when you finish it. Or while you're doing a mission, people can come after you on PVP servers. The "end game" I'd say is to group with people and raid other peoples bases. And with the update coming out, you'll be able to not just raid bases but totally take them over.
It was tinybuild the PUBLISHERS who bought the DEADSIDE team who asset flipped DEADSIDE not the creators of DEADSIDE… tinybuild are publishers but they ALSO have a dev team aka hello neighbour creators… know who to actually be mad at so actual change can happen. I agree though this was a shit business practice and I feel bad for the deadside devs. If I was the CEO or creator of the dev team behind deadside (forgot name) I would literally beat whoever’s ass at tinybuild for taking my game and making some stupid duck game asset flip out of it… but I guess I wouldn’t also? Since it was the deadside devs CEO who decided to sell publishing rights over to tinybuild in the first place
@@ANDYBARLOTV thanks for clarifying but I still think the devs are to blame. Even if they had a contractual obligation to continue development and deadpixel forced em to hand assets and code; for 17 million $ I'd be working harder to hire more people to finish the game. This just tells me the devs sold out and are doing bare minimum
Duckside is a joke tinybuild lol… how could you not take those resources you took to make that game and put it into actual deadside… such a shame. I feel sorry for the team behind deadside as I’m sure they probably aren’t happy about this & if they are then just shame on them also. Asset flips shouldn’t be encouraged these days, even if you do own the IP, do better.
shoutout to www.youtube.com/@LoafDS for making this overview
Cant wait to jump back in! This update looks very good so far!
Nice presentation! 👍 , it reminds me of the way the great community manager for EverSpace 2 goes about explaining their game.

Update isn’t going to fix player count or cheaters
You can say that about every game that has ever been made so your opinion has no substance.
