Hera was born 29 BBY so it makes her around 10-11 in The Bad Batch. Kanan was born on Coruscant 33 BBY so there is a 4 year different between the two.

Look how young Hera is in this episode of the Bad Batch & Hera hasn’t even got the ghost or any of the other parts of her team yet.
Two of them still infants/toddlers at this point. Even if Sabine's older than Ezra, it's not by more than a year. I wonder if a job at Lothal is in the books. At least seeing Ezra's parents walk by in a crowd would be a treat.
It's crazy going back to this point and actually realizing the age difference between the Star Wars characters. Seeing Caleb/Kanan and Hera so young. I'm just about thinking Han's about the same age as Omega. And of course Chewie is immortal. He probably fought alongside Tarre Vizsla.
@@samsonguy10k Chewie was 190 in Solo. Tarre Viszla was active at least a few centuries before Chewie was born

I like Hera and Omega’s budding friendship.
Hera was almost 13 in the bad batch. Ezra would of been a baby in this show. Sabine would still in diapers.
Zeb was still captain of the honer guard. Kanan was still on the run from the Empire.
Hard to believe Hera dreamed of growing up to be a pilot she loved to fly and see the galaxy. She might of did to show her dad.

I WISH they’d used the voice actress in live action. Her voice is so distinctive I just can’t imagine anyone else playing her.
I think its good that they changed the VA. Would be weird if teenager Hera had the same voice as adult Hera
@@killerdiva7771 this voice actress in Bad Batch is the same one as in Rebels. She's an adult with a child in Rebels.

I really do hope we get alot of tie ins with the Bad Batch. Boba defeating Cad Bane win a reminder on his helmet, Hera meeting Kanan, Kamino Uprising, and many more things.
I've heard the showdown between Boba and Bane has already happened, based on some art on Cad Bane shown around Episodes 8-9 of bad Batch.
She left her home planet to fight for what's right.
Im wondering if that is actually Vanessa Marshell doing a french accent to make Hera sound younger
Well, Marshall is credited for voicing Hera in the credits. (And for some reason "Chopper" is still credited as voicing himself, even though it was established in the series finale that Dave Filoni did Chopper's voice.)
She speaks in that accent when she's talking to her dad in Rebels too.

I agree with you cause Omega does look younger than Hera. Hera knows that she will be a flyer it’s in her blood,too fly starships out in the galaxy,that’s Hera’s dream & it comes so true in Star Wars Rebels,Hera is an awesome pilot who no-one knows how good she really is.
@@kevinyoung6082 She even outwitted Darth Vader once. Not that she would be eager to try it again, but not many pilots **cough** Han Solo **cough** can actually claim that feat.
I will always get a kick out of Tech's reaction to Omega when she talks about flying being a feeling.

Which is really weird because Omega, being a gen 1 clone and basically Boba’s “twin,” should be 13 here. But Hera is the one who looks 13 or 14, and Omega looks like she’s somewhere between 9 and 11 years old.
@@Kohay114 Maybe she was created a few years after Boba or even kept in cryostasis during the clone wars which lasted for exactly three years.

@@andreioprica6543 If I know the guys at Lucasfilm as well as I think I do, sounds like they realized they have a bunch of seasons of Mandalorian, Ahsoka and Book of Boba to go through and decided to wait for the right moment.
its so cool to me that we've now seen both Hera and Kanan at this specific point on the timeline, so many years before they meet each other. imagine we see an old Hunter and hes like "wait i knew both of those kids!"
It's nice that you included parallel scenes from the past Bad Batch and Rebels episodes also to visualize more on their scenes.

Honestly, and I know this is an interesting take about *the bad batch*, but I think the bad batch being in this episode detracted from it. It honestly felt like a ham-fisted, small universe thing. I would have preferred that they just got weapons from some run of the mill trader, and we focus on crosshair and Ryloth.

@@chrispink9716 then it’s small universe since there are a supposed quadrillion life forms in sw, I also think the Jedi back in ep1 shouldn’t have been kannan as again it makes the ss galaxy feel small

They wanted him in every episode,why??? And when he appered in 7's episode it is right decision,because yes Galaxy not so Small,and they shouldn't met Rex in 3rd episode. I have another question. Lucasfilm anonced names of all epidodes exept 14,15 and 16. Episode 12 has Ryloth in his name,so of course it means That Hera will appear here. Yes,I didn't expected her so erly,but expected. Why you hadn't quetion like this before episode 11?

I wonder if we’ll get Omega in the Ahsoka series since we know Hera is in it. I’d love to see her in live action some day. I saw someone compare omega to what Florence Pugh looks like in Dune and the match was pretty uncanny.

What was up with Hera’s accent? She didn’t have it in Rebels so why was that done here?
Well this was before she became a rebel, and if you watched the ep where she's reunited with her father, her accent comes back. And even in an another ep in s3. I'm guessing over due time btwn Ba Batch and Rebels, her accent changed, but her old one never truly went away
