I live in Canada where books written mainly in English that include French-language words and phrases are common. I selected 'Francine's' voice for 'As far as I am concerned this is un autre saison.' This software did reasonably well -- indeed much, much better than others I have tried -- but one would need to try lengthier passages.

LOL...😂 Kelvin, I thought you once said you don't accept paid promotion from services you can't use yourself? As a content creator, can you use this monotone-sounding voices for YOUR content? While I apprciate their effort, the software is currently NOT anywhere close to sounding realistic! A good product sells itself, they should get to work. No hard feeling.

Having briefly visited the website, I think the service is very expensive for start-ups! Unless you have to go with humble options.

This seems to be very powerful, however I can't help to think that with this power comes a high level of very granular settings. This may take a ton of time to tweak out for just 10 minutes of copy... If I was okay with my own voice... I would simply go traditional, lay down my own track and have it done quickly. Other generators simply allow you to text prompt and describe the overall tone, pace, vocabulary, accent, language etc. and in a minute its done. From my experience it does a great job 99% of the time. I'll give this one a test run to get a true experience. I do like the level of control, just question if that is fully necessary if you are looking for speed and scale.

OMG! There was a time when humans like myself did study the vocal craft but now AI covers everything. AI will write the script for you too... btw, can AI laugh?

When you preview a voice against your prepared text, does this eat away at your credit allocation, or only when you export / download?

Sounds like those paid resume builders. You spend 2hrs making a 'free' resume.. Then you must pay to have it.

Is it better than Eleven Labs?
One thing I didn’t like about Eleven Labs is that you cannot change the pronunciation of a word without generating the entire voiceover again.

Interesting ... especially since I was creating text-to-speech voiceovers twenty-two years ago. To get the sound we wanted, I had to annotate the text, sort of like how WordPerfect worked (for you old-timers out there). The initial text would set the speed of the voice, then I could create emphasis by putting /'s around specific words or phrases. It took a bit of time to create, but honestly, not much more time than would be required to set-up and create short voiceovers with the time and equipment required.

Can you not blend every frame together of your person? I always have to remember that it's your video failing to show a frame, not my eyes.

What is the point of using AI for such trivial tasks? Why not work on artificial wisdom?

It seems the biggest market for AI will be scammers. As Peter Zaihan said we want AI to do the dishes so we can write, not something that writes for us but we still have to do the dishes.

I don't mean to be a pain - but damn - how can someone (you) who seems to have no idea about vocal talent, inflection etc.. do a video on this subject. Learn what the craft is, and then you can talk about it.. Go watch Rick & Morty, Family Guy, Archer - listen, learn - practice mimic.. emotion is not a four letter word .. use it in your work - no go learn.. oye..
