I have enjoyed my Lepai 2020A+ for many years. They power a pair of Klipsh speakers that I purchased in 2007. Those speakers were originally powered by the sub, and when the amp finally went in the sub, I decided to power the small speakers with the Lepai and I purchased a generic plate amp for the sub. The Lepai is a great little amp.
The TI is technically better at reproducing a louder version of exactly the signal that it is provided. The A+ subjectively sounds better to me. More perfect reproduction does not equal listening enjoyment. My TI sits on a shelf unused. I always grab an A+ from my drawer of mini-amps when I'm looking for an enjoyable listening experience. If it helps calibrate my opinion, I enjoy the sound of Marantz amplifiers and Pioneer and Klipsch speakers.

For a non-audiophile, what does this actually mean? What are your conclusions and opinions between the 2?

Those are not caps but inductors...
Correct you are. Surprised it took this long for someone to catch that.
