Her voice has really improved since last year. She's trying really hard to avoid pushing her vocals I.e. shouting and growling too much that's why VOL sounds more reserved these days because she's being careful and doing all the right things to protect her voice from damage. I can definately tell she properly warmed up here because her vocals sound so much fluid the agility is getting there plus I notice that her stamina has come back whatever meds she was on before to manage her illness must have made her feel really drowsy but not anymore! I see energy, I see that old Mariah spark shining through and above all I see her happy, contented and more grounded! 😊

If you are good enough, the crack will still be there but not audible because you use air to push to the next register. It’s technically not transitioning ig but that’s the only way i can describe it. Unless you’d prefer me to say “switch from head voice to whistle register”
Apart from all that tangent, i think it may just be that the whistle run at the end was just v low (for a whistle........) so it may sound sort of heady
