I think L.A. Reid gave Mariah her first butterfly ring in 2002. The pastor there is Rev Clarence Keaton, who passed away some years ago, leader of the True Worship church that Mariah Attended. Mariah's nana Reese (on her father's side) was an evangelist and when Mariah was 3 years old and there was a lot of drama at home, she kinda prophesized Mariah that all her dreams would come true, that is why Mariah has so much faith and thanks God first and foremost for all her blessings (eventhough her dad was an atheist). One of the main reasons I follow MCis because of her faith in God and in herself.
