    These are all interesting looking pies and probably very tasty. However, I can testify as an over 70 Australian who has eaten Australian meat pies all my life, these are definitely NOT Australian meat pies.

    오늘 인천갔다가 지나가는 길에 가게가 너무 예뻐서 들어갔는디 완전 맛집이었어요~ 미트파이 추천해요^^!! 미트파이 먹고 너무 맛있어서 머쉬룸도 시켜봤는데요 머쉬룸은 버섯이 생각보다 별로 안들어있오서 좀 아쉬웠어요. 담에 기회되면 풀드포크 먹을거에요~♡

    As an Australian Baker/Pastry cook I can assure you that this is not how we make pies in Australia. Some of the ingredients they use here I have never put in a pie once and I have made thoasands. Apart from mince and onions the rest is their additives. We dont even cook the mince this way let alone the tomato sauce that was added as we would cook the mince differently and use a meat pie base added to mince for the gravy.

      Do you have a recipe for the shortcut pastry? I tried making pies at home today (im a home sick Australian) and the crust just wasn't the same. The recipe i used was 400g of flour, 200g of unsalted butter, pinch of salt and 100ml of water, does that sound right?

      @@jere473 Basic recipe is 250 grams of plain flour , 125 grams of butter - diced and kept cold ( i prefer unsaulted and and add a small pinch of salt. 1 to 3 tablespoons of water, add gradually till you have enough. I rub the butter into the flour till its like small crumb. Dont forget to blind bake it first.

    That pink slop looks like dog food. A proper meat pie should have chunks of steak, and kidney, with onions and sometimes mushrooms. Add a beef stock. Nothing else!
