Breaking into a new sport climbing grade can be an incredibly difficult challenge, but consolidating that breakthrough can be even harder. Having climbed his first 9a+/5.15a 'Realization/Biographie' in 2014, EpicTV Shop climber Jonathan Siegrist set his sights on another classic of the grade; Spain's 'La Rambla.' To prepare for the route, Jonathan spent the winter in Colorado, training specifically for this project and when he finally got to Spain this Spring, he was no less regimented in his approach, taking the project step by step. Check out this video from Jonathan's friend and filmmaker Colette McInerney which follows his process of building steadily to the point were the send is within reach. Music: '60’s French Pop' by Coclixe, 'Destroy She Says' by Zoe.LeelA, 'The Way We Used To Bleed' by Chris Lago and Original Flute Music by Ashtanakun. His observation that sometimes success follows a feeling that he has given up is potent. There is incredible untapped power in vulnerability.

There is a lot of good footage in there, but that editing is straight trash. There has been much improvement on the channel!

Professional footage. But a bit anticlimactic - none of the hard moves were emphasized.

Poor editing. I want sure whether I kept rewinding the video by accident, or watching the daily progression of his projecting, which started with him lighting the stove lol!
