This makes sense. It took me a long time to understand I was angry or anxious or any number of feelings. I now have a better understanding of my inner life which allows me to make better decisions for myself.

You know, I hear descriptions like this of ADHD all the time, but I feel like I’m the total opposite. I’m hyper aware of when I’m hungry or tired or have a headache or whatever. But I’m completely oblivious to my surroundings and don’t actually know when someone is trustworthy or not! I think I’m an inattentive type, so I wonder if that’s common among some inattentive ADHDers?

I wonder if this is kinda asking the same lines of....medically... if my Dr gives me a medication of vitamin or whatever to take to help me feel better... and if I noticed a difference...I can never tell a difference...I feel like I'm not "in tune" with my body at all most of the time... it's that kind of the same?

not me! I'm aware of self quite sensitivity and intimately , as well as outside myself.

ADHD meds can heavily affect your ability to sense if you are hungry or thirsty. Also something to think about
