Rick was created as a parody of him. In this case, the original will beat the joke! Seriously, check out Doctor Who if you can. It’s great! Especially Modern Who starting in 2005!
On the podcast they had for Rick vs the Doctor, the guy debating for Rick was always being given good counters back at him. The Doctor is prepared for this.
Even worse Ben even said he didn’t know much about the Doctor, but the other guy knew a lot about Rick. Ben was literally using the Chat and the Wiki, yet was still giving great arguments of the Doctor. It was also kinda annoying as the guy would just say something, and then when Ben would say something he would also claim it’s impossible. Like Ben mentioned the Doctor can scan Rick’s mind and immediately understand all of Rick’s tech. The other guy’s argument for that was basically The Doctor see’s Rick pull out the mind erasing gun, stand there as Rick shoots it, and then The Doctor forgets about it all. That argument literally doesn’t change anything because number 1 Rick wouldn’t be aware the Doctor read his mind, number 2 the Doctor could just read his mind again, and number 3 the Doctor wouldn’t just let Rick hit him. There was also the argument that Rick could fly his ship at Light Speed, but when Ben mentioned the Doctor could do the same it didn’t count. Like overall watching that episode I was actually annoyed because he wasn’t making arguments beyond “well I didn’t see it so it doesn’t count.”
Some of The doctors more weaker feats literally compare to ricks best, like that’s not an exaggeration. Rick is barley done any multiversal feats however the doctor has done many many multiversal feats and beaten omniversal threats, he’s outsmarted nigh-omniscient beings like the toymaker, Fenric, great intelligence, black guardian etc. He’s killed beings that could create entire realms and multiverses, he’s beaten omnipresent beings and intangible ones like lampreys, reset the universe multiple times, has destroyed his entire planet when it was at its height of power (before the last great timewar and his planet is literally home to the most powerful civilisation in the universe and strongest than some multiversal beings like swimmers, he’s made immortal beings mortal and easily contests with 12 dimensional beings.......man I can keep on going cause this isn’t even like 2% of his feats 💀 I haven’t even touched on his far superior technology or power scaling (which he scales so far beyond Rick it’s actually hilarious) Rick genuinely stands no chance but I feel like death battles will miss the mark in their research with the doctor as not enough people know these things about the doctor from the novels, audio books, comics etc.
That's true, Rick is even unable to kill a god, even if he came close, BUT - you have to consider the gadgets Rick and the Doctor can create are power-scaled almost equally. Rick could make a replica screwdriver while drunk overnight, both can create gadgets that will disarm and re-engage with each other, this battle won't be won with gadgets from either side.
@@Siksama erm that’s blatantly wrong, the doctors gadgets scale far higher, with cosmology u can get a lot of things to boundless but for this however we will be talking about equal cosmology, the doctor has gadgets that get to high complex multiversal with equal cosmology, ricks barley even gets to multiversal alone.......this a huge difference. Truthfully the tardis alone is all the doctor needs, that if destroyed with shields up can destroy the multiverse, it has an ap of high complex multiversal due to being able to literally attack the quantum archangel, he’s even took the tardis in to peoples dreams like he did in the time warm novels. The doctor also has made things like crystallised part of the time vortex and turned immortal beings from the 6th dimension in to regular mortals (and he did that as a slight punishment), he could also banish rick into another dimension with his sonic screwdriver and rick hasn’t shown anything to be able to counter such an attack. Literally everything is on the doctors side, I can barley think of any category of a fiction battle where rick take one, the doctor would also destroy him in hand to hand combat as he’s a master of Venusian aikido and can paralyse someone with his pinky finger. This honestly isn’t even fair on rick, he wouldn’t even last a few seconds.
Rick has shown he actually knows about Doctor Who, so he has the advantage in already being aware of what he can do, and for those questioning when this was, he said when he tried to get an autograph with the president "I'm Doctor Who in this motherfucker" which implies he watched it. The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver could end up disabling a vast amount of Rick's arsenal, maybe he has some non-tech weapons that cannot be messed with, but stuff like his portal gun can be disabled, it has been before. Maybe Rick is faster via dodging lasers from orbit, which could maybe mean he can use stuff like his subatomic weapons, or turn The Doctor into a pickle, even have The Doctor touch his lab coat for the instant death. Rick is for sure beaten in time travel and time based stuff when it comes to The Doctor, but that is just 1 factor. I feel Rick could pull the win via having just too massive of an arsenal with so many ways to kill The Doctor, and I doubt any mind control, emotion altering, or mental based stuff would work on The Doctor, but he does still have a physical body which can be damaged, and he can be killed, even with his regeneration, he becomes a different person, so Rick can instantly kill The Doctor right after, or like his subatomic weapon could destroy all cells of the body, because while they do regenerate, I don't think they can regenerate when all their body is scattered to bits. Not saying The Doctor can't beat Rick, I just see it more likely Rick has better and many more ways to take out The Doctor. I will admit The Doctor has probably faced more dangerous foes, but he hasn't faced anyone like Rick Sanchez. So I'd say Rick wins via bigger and better arsenal, being faster, and the fact he knows about The Doctor already, so he should know how to deal with him, but physical stats I'm not sure about.
It'll be tough because like what is Ricks typical Arsenal? Just the portal gun right? But I doubt they'll limit him to just that, so I don't know what kinda arsenal each will have
"Bigger and better arsenal" is not exactly true. Sure, the doctor doesn't use weapons, but this is death battle. Anything he has kept on the TARDIS over the years will be used. i think my main thing. with death battle was they gave both some way out of standard things but with the levels of regen both of them have it made sense plus… both dogos live!
Fun fact: this death battle was my idea, anyway the doctor wins, he has experience, intelligence, fighting skill, access to better technology and because of timeless child can't die, plus if the doctor looks into the heart of the tardis he becomes a god The doctor fought a war for hundreds of years against a species capable of ending creation and won Rick needs plot armour to defeat most enemies he faces, the enemies need plot armour to stand a chance against the doctor
@@theketaminekid1241 The doctor has fought and defeated both Sontarans and Judoon in hand to hand combat and is a master of Venusian Aikido, Rick doesn't compare
In my opinion: Rick + More varied combat arsenal + Canonically has watched Doctor Who (though to what exact extent is very ill defined) + Has far more experience when it comes to physical combat + Can travel more instantaneously due to portal gun, although it can run out of charge or be hacked into + Potentially faster - Has had trouble fighting god-esque beings before, like when he fought Zeus in the show and Cthulu in the comics, first where he needed outside help to win and the second where he realized he had no chance of victory. And while the Doctor isn't on the same level, he had no power at all to stop Rhett Caan. - Most technology can be disabled by the Sonic Screw Driver. - Tardis generally beats Ship, due to versatility, defensive measures, complexity, and hax, although likely not as high in immediate destructive potential - Can be injured or have limbs removed, even though he was able to implant new ones - No longer has access to Project Phoenix - Hates time travel stories with a passion, so could arguably be caught off guard by it - Is outclassed by time travel abilities regardless - Certain defensive options and contingency plans, like injection clones, defensive grids, and back-up holograms could be limited to the Smith house or require extra time or outside help to fulfill The Doctor + FAR more experienced, as he is around 1000 years old and has been on far more adventures. + Regeneration could continue the fight for a long time if Rick isn't given time to realize how it works + Has defeated far more reality and even concept ending threats + Energy released from each regeneration is powerful enough that it could fry Rick completely if focused correctly + Potentially smarter, even if Rick has seen Doctor Who + While hard to say limit of power for both, Doctor Who's cosmology is potentially much larger and more complex than that of Rick and Morty's, even with its infinite realities - More used to outsmarting enemies and manipulating environment rather than physical combat - Can be killed if not able to regenerate fast enough - Does sometimes require time to adjust to a fresh regeneration - Could be overwhelmed with devices like the Instant Kill Coat and Meeseeks box This fight is going to be super close. I love Rick, but even with personal biased towards Doctor Who set aside, I have to give it to the Timelord. I feel he has enough advantages to take the win more times than not.
I also think The Doctor will win but it's not a stomp, I think The Doctor could even drop a few regenerations before getting the win, Rick can only live once and while Ricks hax abilities are way more quick to activate and potentially deduct a few lives once The Doctor figures his tricks out he is toast... It's SUperman vs Goku but instead of hardest punches it's whoever can hax the other out of existence first.
@@MysterioPerrito Operation Phoenix won't save Rick. The Doctor has 2 weapons in his arsenal that will literally be able to instantly take it out, "The Moment" and the heart of the TARDIS, and sure, the Doctor won't use it right away, only after Rick has pushed him to his limits, but once he does, Rick has no answer for it So I ask you the same question you just so ironically asked: "watch the show before debating"
The Doctor presses a button on their screwdriver and turns off all of Rick's augmentations. Also the TARDIS is just busted compared to Rick's ship, there's an episode of DW where The Doctor says the TARDIS could turn off the sun if it was misused. The DW novels give them a whole bunch of multiversal stuff as well and then there's The Moment, The Glory and The Key to Time all of which could give The Doctor crazy hax. I mean there's a feat where they exist outside of spacetime so they can evade attacks before they've even been made and land hits instantly.
not that these aren't good feats. But does the words, "Bad Wolf" mean anything? Rose simply looked into the heart of the tardis and became an omnipotent TIME GOD. All she did was LOOK into it's heart.
@@lXedalinl It's good but I don't think The Doctor needs it when a TARDIS power cell was able to do the same as when Rose was Bad Wolf and has the added effect of The Doctor doesn't need to regenerate. I can also see The Writer's Block being more helpful as it can trap Rick and unlike the other times he's been trapped The Doctor won't need anything from him.

usually death battles pick up some minor detail of a forgotton storyline, to balance things out, until surprisingly a character who would have no chance, somehow wins. Said that, Rick Sanchez would win with no problem. Simply his car could probably destory the Tardis... While the doctor would try to reason with Rick, he's killing him and double tapping to avoid regeneration. the Doctor has some plot armor, but Rick is a walking ex-machina, who loses only when the plot needs him to, or it couldn't progress. I mean, the doctor doesn't have a phoneix protocol, and can only regenerate once at the time, and keep regenerating wounds (not fatal blows) once. The doctor can't travel throug universes as Rick does, so even in a 1000 years lifespan, he can't have the knowledge Rick gets from all infinite universes the doctor needs local technology to work, to try and save the day. If it doesn't, side characters die and he barely survives. Rick can make the elements and technology, where there is none.
Im glad that it was a draw. Both was a part of my childhood but moreso for scooby doo and from base info ive already learned that Courage is not able to be killed so i already knew that if they find similar survival feats for Scooby then it will have to be a draw. I didn't see Scooby winning from the get go so its ether Courage or a tie and thankfully it was a tie. Plus i love both of them and they are friends so it would be kinda sad to see one take out the other.
The doctor defeats gods and multiversal beings not with weapons, but getting into their heads The doctor has defeated a being whos very mind dictated the law of physics in a dimension they willed into existence, just by talking to them. Rick, a man who has faced none of his demons, cut off all other universes where hes not top dog, and runs from his past, this guy went to therapy ONCE, and a normal earth therapist was able to get into his head. This is the exact opponent the doctor excels at defeating. The mad, "Unstoppable god". His rival is the Master, who is basically just the doctor with all his tech, knowledge, and TIME TRAVEL, and the Doctor still beats him. Rick can't even do Time Travel. the ONE time he tried pausing time it fucked his time line so hard he may not have existed.
It's interesting, if death battle wasn't what it was, then the "fight" wouldn't be a fight... because that's not how the doctor works, he has morals, and would still dispatch of Rick but do it in the nicest way he can, doing his best to not have to kill Rick But since it's death battle? We're finally going to get an accurate, on-screen version of the time lord victorious at full power. We've only had hints of the doctor's darker side (in the TV show at least) but even with these hints alone.... he's gonna absolutely obliterate Rick

And while the Doctor isn't on the same level, he had no power at all to stop Rhett Caan.
- Most technology can be disabled by the Sonic Screw Driver.
- Tardis generally beats Ship, due to versatility, defensive measures, complexity, and hax, although likely not as high in immediate destructive potential
- Can be injured or have limbs removed, even though he was able to implant new ones
- No longer has access to Project Phoenix
- Hates time travel stories with a passion, so could arguably be caught off guard by it
- Is outclassed by time travel abilities regardless
- Certain defensive options and contingency plans, like injection clones, defensive grids, and back-up holograms could be limited to the Smith house or require extra time or outside help to fulfill
The Doctor
+ FAR more experienced, as he is around 1000 years old and has been on far more adventures.
+ Regeneration could continue the fight for a long time if Rick isn't given time to realize how it works
+ Has defeated far more reality and even concept ending threats
+ Energy released from each regeneration is powerful enough that it could fry Rick completely if focused correctly
+ Potentially smarter, even if Rick has seen Doctor Who
+ While hard to say limit of power for both, Doctor Who's cosmology is potentially much larger and more complex than that of Rick and Morty's, even with its infinite realities
- More used to outsmarting enemies and manipulating environment rather than physical combat
- Can be killed if not able to regenerate fast enough
- Does sometimes require time to adjust to a fresh regeneration
- Could be overwhelmed with devices like the Instant Kill Coat and Meeseeks box
This fight is going to be super close. I love Rick, but even with personal biased towards Doctor Who set aside, I have to give it to the Timelord. I feel he has enough advantages to take the win more times than not.
Now this is the kinda info I needed
I also think The Doctor will win but it's not a stomp, I think The Doctor could even drop a few regenerations before getting the win, Rick can only live once and while Ricks hax abilities are way more quick to activate and potentially deduct a few lives once The Doctor figures his tricks out he is toast... It's SUperman vs Goku but instead of hardest punches it's whoever can hax the other out of existence first.
Superman vs Goku of the minds lol
Issue is that the doctor has survived being erased from existence... multiple times
Correction: Rick has operation phoenix, which gives him infinite lives in case he dies somehow.
Someone doesn’t know about Operation Phoenix. Watch show before you debate about said character
@@MysterioPerrito Operation Phoenix won't save Rick. The Doctor has 2 weapons in his arsenal that will literally be able to instantly take it out, "The Moment" and the heart of the TARDIS, and sure, the Doctor won't use it right away, only after Rick has pushed him to his limits, but once he does, Rick has no answer for it
So I ask you the same question you just so ironically asked: "watch the show before debating"
They have to use David tenant the 10th doctor as he's also the current 14th last I checked. Also for strength the doctor once lifted chains forged in the heart of a star... And these were thick chains.
Video for reference, Same David tenant

How can u offer predictions when u know nothing about the characters
Easy, did you watch the video? Lol like bro, it’s just choosing who you think will win a fight. It’s not rocket science. DB does that part. Have you never taken a GUESS before? Like, I shouldn’t bet on football games if I don’t know the other team either 😂. You take what you know and hope for the best bruh
@@UncrownedOtaku but your guess hold no weight if u don't know anything about WHT ur guessing on.
If u don't know shit about football nor the teams, maybe you shouldn't give uneducated guesses on who u think will win.
usually death battles pick up some minor detail of a forgotton storyline, to balance things out, until surprisingly a character who would have no chance, somehow wins.
The doctor can't travel throug universes as Rick does, so even in a 1000 years lifespan, he can't have the knowledge Rick gets from all infinite universes
the doctor needs local technology to work, to try and save the day.
The doctor defeats gods and multiversal beings not with weapons, but getting into their heads
The doctor has defeated a being whos very mind dictated the law of physics in a dimension they willed into existence, just by talking to them.
Rick can do time travel, he just chooses not to.
It's interesting, if death battle wasn't what it was, then the "fight" wouldn't be a fight... because that's not how the doctor works, he has morals, and would still dispatch of Rick but do it in the nicest way he can, doing his best to not have to kill Rick
But since it's death battle? We're finally going to get an accurate, on-screen version of the time lord victorious at full power. We've only had hints of the doctor's darker side (in the TV show at least) but even with these hints alone.... he's gonna absolutely obliterate Rick
Rick as never been through anything on the scope of the time war not even close.
Did you just say rick don't got hands? I mean he's still losing but he could fight
I did not see this one coming. I thought they weren’t gonna do this one becuase of what happened with Justin Roiland. Oh well. I think the Doctor from Doctor Who wins tho.
The doctor is going to beat rick sanchez in death battle because the doctor can outsmarted rick sanchez 10 to 1.😂💯👍
10 to 1 you say? well let's get this easy dub then lol
L comment.
I think Rick is dead. No further questions.
What really what else does anyone know about the doctor
Sup otaku! I think doctor who wins
Sadly rick will win because of favoritism.
i think rick's self destructive habits and sheer self hatred would likely be a major factor.
You would think doctor would win but Rick has an infinite number of clone cats he can go to if he dies
@trollfack2966
that can be disabled/rerouted proven through the series.
@@chongwillson972 Isn’t there an infinite number of them? If he get rerouted, then operation phoenix will get rerouted elsewhere
@@trollfack2966
you can disable someone connection to it, like how evil morty did it to all those ricks and also against rick prime.
@@chongwillson972 Were they really disabled? I mean the vats said rerouted and not disconnected. Was it said in an interview or something because I don’t remember them being disabled
@@trollfack2966
if they were not disabled then the citadel of ricks would not be in shambles, the ricks evil morty hunted would not be died, PRIME RICK would also not be dead.
the entire story would no longer make sense if there was no way to disable this connect to the operation phoenix.
